July 20 20102010-07-20June 13 20102010-06-13A temple ritual scene in front of a gilded deity murti decorated with red and pink flower garlands and a purple cloth backdrop. Centrally, a young woman in an orange saffron robe wearing a white and pink garland sits on a white-draped seat, her hand extended toward a prostrate devotee in a teal top lying face down on the white cloth with a flower garland. Around them, people in white dhotis and kurtas with orange or saffron shawls stand on an orange mat; a woman in a white saree with a yellow border stands with hands in anjali, and another woman in a white and red-bordered saree stands to the right. Brass oil lamps and a kalasha-like brass stand sit near the shrine. The scene suggests a padapuja or darshan style blessing, with a figure in saffron clothing seated receiving devotees.2010-06-13July 21 20102010-07-21July 20 20102010-07-20June 13 20102010-06-13Night outdoor ritual on a raised stone platform under a open-sided shelter lit by a bright floodlight. A seated figure in orange-saffron robes sits on an orange cushioned throne-like seat at the centre; the figure's hair and build are not clearly visible enough to make a confident identification. Devotees in white dhotis and white tops with red-orange shawls stand and kneel with hands folded in namaskar on the ground, a woman in white with a red shawl and a woman with a long braid are prominent in the foreground. A deity murti adorned with garlands of yellow and orange flowers sits on a blue-draped pedestal at left, and a tall framed altar with lit lamps is visible at right. A shaved-headed man in an orange dhoti stands among the devotees. Attendants are visible behind the central figure, and the floor is scattered with leaves and offerings.2015-07-07July 20 20102010-07-20July 20 20102010-07-20June 28 20102010-06-28Outdoor temple-courtyard scene with orange-draped awning and deity murti decorated with garlands in the background. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes and a multi-strand gold and bead necklace sits on a cushioned throne-like seat with a low orange-draped stool before him, smiling, with flower garlands and petals at his feet. Several men in white dhotis and shirts, wearing white flower garlands, stand with palms pressed together in namaskar and devotion, one bending forward toward the seated figure. Additional devotees in white stand in a line on the right, some holding garlands and offerings. A brass kalasha-style lamp stand and floral offerings sit on a table at left.2010-07-24July 17 20092009-07-17 +1 copies
