A photograph of a group walking single file along a dusty red dirt path through dry grassland and scrubby trees, with forested hills behind. In the foreground a woman with long dark hair in an orange saffron robe and orange shawl walks with a wooden staff and a rudraksha mala around her neck. Behind her a line of devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas, some wearing orange shawls, follow along the trail, with a few women in white saris and orange shawls among them. The scene suggests a girivalam, a circumambulation of a sacred hill, as a procession moves on foot.

Several saffron-robed sannyasis walk in a line; a man in the center wears an orange turban and orange robes and carries nothing visible, while a sannyasi behind him holds a decorated box. Two men in white dhotis with yellow shawls hold up colourful fringed parasols on long poles, and a cameraman with a camera on the left films the group. The white-clad attendants and saffron-clad monastics suggest a ceremonial walk, possibly a person appearance in the procession.
