A photograph of an outdoor ritual gathering with a central man in a saffron-orange robe seated on an orange-draped cushioned seat, holding a handheld microphone in one hand and an open booklet in the other while reading. A red patterned rug covers the ground. Around him, devotees in white clothes with rudraksha and beaded necklaces sit cross-legged, some with hands folded in prayer and one holding a small object. A man in a white garment with a gold-coloured chain sits at right with eyes closed, and an attendant in orange holds an orange umbrella overhead. Brass or steel bowls and a water bottle sit on the cloth in front.2009-07-01July 01 20092009-07-01July 01 20092009-07-01A seated man in an orange-saffron robe holds a black microphone and speaks to an audience on the bank of a water body, sitting on an orange-covered cushioned seat on a colourful striped and patterned mat. Above him hangs a multicoloured fringed canopy. Around him, participants in white clothes and rudraksha malas sit on mats, one holding a small plate of offerings, and a man in a grey t-shirt with a yellow lanyard and beads sits to the right. A water bottle and small offering plates rest on the mats in front. Appearance-based cues on the central figure (saffron robe, microphone-led discourse) are consistent with a person presenting a session, though the face is not identifiable from the image.2009-07-01Outdoor riverside ceremony beside a green pond, with a large multicolored umbrella with yellow, blue, and red panels over a central seated figure. Fruit, flower offerings, and brass vessels are arranged on the mats in front. A small group of white-clad devotees sits along the right edge by the water.2009-07-01Outdoor ritual by a lake edge with stone wall on the left.
