A photograph of an outdoor construction site at an ashram compound. Grey concrete block walls rise from foundation trenches in sandy, excavated ground. Stacked bamboo poles and a green hose lie along the trench edges, and loose concrete blocks are scattered in the foreground beside plastic sheeting. Steel frame scaffolding stands at the left and right, with a white van and small buildings and trees in the background. No people are clearly visible in the frame.A construction site at a rural compound showing partially built concrete block walls of grey cinder blocks rising from excavated sand foundations. Trenches are dug into sandy earth, with bamboo scaffolding poles lashed together along the right-hand wall and green water hoses lying across the ground. Steel framing and a tall metal gantry stand at the left and right edges. Piles of loose stone and rubble sit near the centre, and beyond the site are low buildings, trees, heaps of sand and a parked white vehicle.
