December 29 20062006-12-29A photograph of a large indoor satsang hall under a white tent ceiling with hanging yellow and red decorative banners. Rows of men in white clothes sit cross-legged on the floor with palms pressed together in namaskar. On the left, a figure in orange robes with a garland sits on a raised white seat, appearing to be a person (appearance cues: orange clothing and garland; the seat and role are not sufficient on their own). Framed portraits of a woman hang on the walls, and a dark backdrop with a deity image is behind the stage. The scene suggests a devotional gathering.2006-12-30 +1 copiesIndoor hall with white plastic chairs at left and a seated audience on purple mats in front, mostly men in white kurtas and white dhotis with rudraksha malas. A standing man in white with an orange shawl stands at right near a yellow floor line, facing the seated group. A cameraman in white stands centre, and portrait photographs are displayed on the wall behind with hanging banners at the top.2006-12-10January 02 20092009-01-02A large indoor hall with a red curtain backdrop and a gold-and-red throne on a raised stage. A figure in orange robes sits on the throne, with a second figure in orange seated beside the stage and flower arrangements on a table. Dozens of men in white clothes sit cross-legged on a colourful striped woven mat facing the stage, several with hands raised or folded, while a camera on a tripod records the gathering. Hanging yellow and multicoloured banners decorate the tent-like ceiling and walls.2009-01-02Wide view inside a white tent-style hall during a seated satsang. Rows of devotees sit on white floors wearing white dhotis, saris and kurtas, with a few in yellow and grey. Two central aisles of red-brown stripes lead toward a raised stage with a dark maroon backdrop, an orange cushioned seat, and standing figures in white. Hanging decorative banners in yellow, red and blue line the ceiling, and ceiling fans turn overhead. The page associates this with a talk on the sacred feminine, but no seated figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.2010-09-17A photograph of a large indoor hall filled with seated devotees, mostly men dressed in white kurtas and dhotis, sitting on the floor in rows facing a raised stage. On the stage, a person in an orange-saffron robe with a striped shawl sits on a white cushioned seat behind a microphone, addressing the audience. Behind the stage hang dark red curtains and a small framed picture is visible on the right wall beside a bright spotlight. Two large framed portraits hang on the back wall, and multicoloured ceremonial banners line the upper walls. Several people in the foreground are seen from behind. A standing fan is at the left edge of the stage.2006-12-30Interior of a decorated tent hall where many people in white shirts and grey trousers sit cross-legged on white mats in rows, facing a stage. Most wear white headbands and are seen from behind. A red velvet curtain backs the stage, with a white-draped seat and a small white table at its centre, and a white cabinet on the right. Tall colourful pennants with geometric patterns hang from the tent ceiling, and a small fan stands near the front. A yellow line runs down the central aisle.2007-08-31January 02 20092009-01-02 +3 copiesDecember 29 20062006-12-29A large hall with a stage at the far end where a figure sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, a small table before it. Rows of seated devotees in white dhotis and white garments, many bare-shouldered or with red-bordered cloths, face the stage on orange and red mats, with brass puja vessels and small lamps placed in front of them. Tall cylindrical banners with colourful geometric patterns and orange tails hang from the ceiling, and a projection screen stands at left. Several people sit in the foreground with their backs to the camera, and more are seated along the right side near the doors. The scene looks like a satsang or public talk. The throne figure is not clearly identifiable from appearance at this distance.2010-12-04December 25 20082008-12-25
