Outdoor photograph of a courtyard beside a whitewashed building with a window and an arched doorway. A woman in a green sari with a dark blouse stands with hands clasped in front of her, while an older white-bearded man in white clothes holds a small tray. Behind them a man in white dhoti and kurta with an orange shawl holds a lit oil lamp, and another in white clothes bends near a low table with brass vessels. A heap of marigolds and mixed flowers lies on the ground and a brass pot sits nearby. The pavement is wet. Five people are visible, all in white or light-coloured clothing except the woman's green sari.

In the centre, an older man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a steel bowl of offerings and a plate of food, while a younger man in a white shirt with an orange saffron shawl carries a bowl beside him. On the right, a man in white with orange shawl and a rudraksha mala holds a silver tray with a small silver vessel and cups. A photograph of a ritual procession passing through a wooden-framed doorway with grilles, under a canopy of green leaves. Two women in saris carry brass trays of flowers on their heads: one in a green sari with a red bindi, the other in a blue sari. A shirtless man in white dhoti with a gold-bordered cloth, rudraksha mala around his neck, balances a tray of flowers overhead. Behind them a man in a white shirt follows. In front, a man in white robes and a white shawl with glasses carries a brass kalasha pot with green leaves, a rudraksha mala visible at his chest. Another man in yellow cloth stands at the right edge. The setting appears to be a temple or ashram courtyard entrance.
