Photograph of a devotional offering at night in a temple or shrine setting. A young man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl over one shoulder holds a child on his hip and reaches to offer a tray of bananas. Facing him, a young man in white shirt and dhoti wears a rudraksha mala and pendant and holds the other side of the tray. Behind them an older woman in a red sari with a red-and-gold border and an older man in white shirt stand near the offering. Another woman in a yellow sari and beaded necklace stands at the right. In the background a framed portrait of a bearded man in white robes and turban hangs on the wall, and a priest in white clothes attends an altar decorated with garlands and brass ornaments.

Photograph of three people standing in front of a temple shrine with deity murtis in gold-framed niches draped with garlands. At left, a man in saffron-orange robes and orange headwear wears a long rudraksha mala and a vibhuti forehead mark. In the centre, a man in white dhoti and a woman in white sari stand together; the woman holds a silver aarti plate with lamps, and the man wears a red kumkum mark. Behind them hang a striped cloth and white tiled walls.

Photograph at an evening temple setting with a lit altar and garlanded deity murti in the background. In the foreground, a man in white dhoti and shirt with an orange shawl holds out a bunch of bananas on a tray to an older man in white. Beside them, a woman in a red sari and gold necklace stands with a young child in a red outfit, and another man in white dhoti with a rudraksha mala holds a second bunch of bananas. A figure in white stands near the altar. Offerings and a mala-like adornment suggest a puja or darshan offering.

Indoor photo in a hall with cream walls, tall windows and hanging decorative fabric banners. On the left, a bare-chested priest with white ash markings on his body and forehead, wearing red and rudraksha-style malas and a green lower cloth, holds a silver tray of fruit (bananas, oranges, apples) with a coconut and flower garnish. On the right, a smiling figure in an orange turban and a garland of pink and white flowers, wearing a purple patterned robe, extends his hands over the tray. Behind them, a man in a light blue shirt presses his palms together in namaskar, a woman in a green sari stands beside him, and another man in a plaid shirt watches with hands clasped. Several other people stand in the background.

A photograph inside a pink-walled hall at an adheenam welcome. A long-haired man in a rust-brown robe with a yellow marigold garland and a rudraksha mala stands before a red-cushioned silver throne chair, bowing with hands raised. Facing him, a priest in white dhoti and orange shawl holds a silver tray with fruit and offerings. Bare-backed young men in white and yellow dhotis stand nearby, and a cameraman and other attendees are in the background. A silver chair with a lion carving and a red stool sit beside them, with a ceremonial umbrella at the upper right. Probable Swamiji cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha mala, and a saffron-brown robe with a marigold garland.

A photograph of an indoor puja in a lattice-walled hall. On the left a woman in an orange sari with an orange head wrap holds a lit multi-wick brass aarti lamp toward the altar. Beside her a bearded man in a white kurta extends one arm over the altar. The altar holds a decorated deity murti draped in red cloth and garlands, with bananas, fruit, sweets, flowers and a brass bowl laid out, and smoke rises beside it. A bronze dancing Shiva-type deity figure stands on a pedestal at right, adorned with garlands, and a green curtain hangs behind. A third person in white sits low at the left edge.

A photograph of a ritual offering in a plain white-walled room. A shirtless priest with a rudraksha mala and tilak sits at left, wearing a white dhoti. A older man in a gold-patterned shawl and pearl necklace holds a steel tray of bananas, mangoes and sweets. At right, a long-haired man in an orange saffron garment and white and red flower garlands, with a green leaf garland, smiles while receiving the tray with both hands. Several other men are partly visible in the background.
