Close-up photo of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe writing with a black pen on a white sheet attached to a brown clipboard. Only the hands, lap and lower torso are visible. The hands wear gold rings. Beside the figure a white garment edged with gold trim is visible, and red patterned carpet with white floral motifs covers the floor. The handwritten text is in a non-Latin script and not legible. A red circular sticker is on the clipboard.

A close photograph of a person in an orange robe writing with a blue pen in a large cream-paged guestbook lying open on a white cloth-covered table. The writer wears a gold beaded necklace of the kind seen with ceremonial dress. Beside the book, a brass plate holds a small brass vessel, and a fringed orange-and-gold cloth lies at the left edge. A second hand rests on the table at the top left, wearing a white garment. Only hands, arms and the upper robe are visible, so no face shows. The handwritten entry is in an Indian script.

A photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala and a small pendant, seated and writing on a clipboard held on his lap. He has a shaved head and is looking down at the paper, his hand guiding a pen across the page. Behind him, people in white clothes with yellow shawls sit on the floor; one holds an orange bottle and others have hands resting near scattered papers and small packets on a tiled floor. A red-cushioned chair is visible. The man's identity cannot be confirmed from appearance alone, so he is described by role as a sannyasi in orange robes.

A photograph of a bearded man in orange robes and an orange turban sitting cross-legged on a red tufted velvet cushion with gold-toned edging. He wears wire-rimmed glasses and a red mark on his forehead, and holds a clipboard with a white sheet in one hand while writing with a pen in the other. The view is angled from above.

A close photograph of a handwritten letter held by a seated person in white clothing with a white shawl, who is writing with a blue ballpoint pen. The letter is written in cursive ink on white paper and is dated 19th September 2010 in the top corner. Another seated person in white robes and a yellow garment sits behind, partly visible at the top right. A printed portrait of a man with a face partially visible lies beneath the paper at the bottom left. The setting appears to be a floor with a light beige cloth.
