Behind her, several people in white dhotis and saris stand in a courtyard amid smoke or incense haze, one man in white wearing a rudraksha-style necklace. Brass lamps, a plate of offerings and a microphone stand sit on the lower left, with a red-walled building and a gold kalasha in the background.2010-11-12November 12 20102010-11-12May 02 20122012-05-02Temple ritual in a golden-hued shrine. Three men in white dhotis, bare-chested, perform worship before a deity murti draped in red and white flower garlands. The man on the left, bald and holding a small silver plate, pours or offers from a cup. The central man wears a tall ornate headdress with jewelled gold and black patterning and a white garland, reaching toward the murti. The man on the right wears a cream cloth on his head and a white shawl, bowing with hands together over the murti. Gold and bronze throne-like ornaments and a lit oil lamp frame the scene, with red satin hangings in the background. This is a padapuja or abhishekam style offering.2012-05-02Indoor puja before a decorated altar with three statues: a central white deity murti with raised hands and crown, flanked by two statues in garlands. A woman in a maroon-and-gold sari holds a lit oil lamp toward the altar. A young priest in saffron robe and white tilak carries a silver plate, and a man in white dhoti with bare torso and rudraksha mala holds a tray. Purple cloth covers the altar, with flower garlands and offerings below. Mostly consistent with a temple ritual; no identifiable a person figure is visible.2014-06-28October 16 20072007-10-16
