November 27 20102010-11-27A large photograph of a seated congregation of men in plain white ritual clothes, many wearing white dhotis and white shirts, some with white cloths over their shoulders and rudraksha malas around their necks. Many hold small lit oil lamps or diyas in their hands, with brass or clay lamps and flower petals scattered on the floor before them. Rows of worshippers fill the hall, with orange and saffron pennant-style banners hanging from the ceiling at the top and a decorated altar with deity murti and lights at the right edge. The setting appears to be a temple-style hall, with the lamps. No single individual is clearly identifiable as a person in the visible crowd.2010-11-12November 11 20102010-11-11A large group of men in white shirts and white dhotis sits cross-legged on the floor of a hall, palms pressed together in anjali mudra. Several wear rudraksha malas. In front, brass plates, small bowls and a red cloth sit on a low orange-covered mat, and a golden deity murti stands at the right edge. Many people are visible across the rows, with the front row in sharp focus.2010-11-11November 14 20102010-11-14December 03 20102010-12-03Photo 11681741August 05 20112011-08-05November 12 20102010-11-12January 20 20132013-01-20 +2 copiesNovember 12 20102010-11-12A large indoor hall with a white floor where many men in white dhotis and white shirts sit in long rows on orange mats, performing puja. Each seated devotee has brass and copper pots, small oil lamps, plates of red flowers and petals, and open books or printed texts in front of them. A bald man in the centre foreground holds a small brass lamp and a brass vessel. Orange and multicoloured banners hang from the ceiling, and a stage area with a screen and speakers is visible at the left. The scene appears to be a group ritual or satsang session.2010-11-17
