Photograph of a ceremonial padapuja in a temple hall with an orange cloth spread on the floor. A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a red-and-white flower garland sits on an orange cushioned seat in front of a gilded altar with a kalasha, flower garlands and a small deity murti. A man in a white dhoti and shirt kneels at the feet, which are being washed or honoured, while a young girl in a floral dress and two women in white sarees with orange borders bend forward to offer and touch. Other men in white and a bald man in white stand nearby, and a stone carved pillar and red gate frame the scene. The seated figure's identity is uncertain from appearance, so the role is given as a person being honoured.2010-06-27June 13 20102010-06-13A photograph of a seated man in saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha mala draped over his chest, sitting on an orange-cushioned seat before a decorated deity murti garlanded with marigolds and a pink-and-yellow cloth. A man in a brown checked shirt and cream dhoti bows toward him, a woman in a red sari and an older woman in a white sari stand nearby, and a young girl in an orange dress stands in front. The setting is an ornate temple shrine with golden pillars and a red backdrop. Several cues (long swept-back hair, saffron robe, rudraksha mala, seated on a throne before a garlanded shrine) make the seated man a probable candidate for a person, though the appearance is not conclusive.2010-07-10June 27 20102010-06-27A seated figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and a red tilak sits on an orange throne-chair under a shrine canopy, appearing to be the Swamiji (probable) by appearance cues. Before him a man in a white shirt and dark trousers kneels and touches his bare feet resting on an orange cushion and wooden sandal, while a man in an orange shawl holds an orange cloth and a man in white dhoti stands nearby. Two women in white saris with gold borders stand at right. Behind them is a golden deity murti in a shrine decorated with red and white garlands and a golden kalasha, with stone carvings on the pillars. The scene suggests padapuja.2010-07-11July 11 20102010-07-11A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits on an orange-cushioned throne in a temple sanctum, reading papers held in his hands. Before him, a shaved-headed man in white with an orange shawl leans forward, a young boy in white kneels, and a woman in white folds her hands in prayer. Behind them stands a deity murti draped in red, garlanded with marigolds, flanked by brass lamps and a kalasha-like arrangement, with a yellow-shawled attendant in white at the right. The seated figure is an appearance-based a person (long dark swept hair, saffron robes, rudraksha mala), so this is marked unsure. Five people are visible in total.2010-07-23A photograph in a temple setting. A seated person in an orange saffron robe with long dark swept hair, a red tilak mark and a rudraksha mala smiles toward a kneeling man in a white shirt whose back is toward the camera, a hand resting on his shoulder. Behind them stands a deity murti decorated with yellow and red flower garlands and silver ornaments, with brass oil lamps on the altar and a red curtain. On the right a man in white kurta with a yellow shawl and rudraksha mala stands. A standing man in white with an orange shawl stands at left. The seated figure has distinctive long swept hair, saffron clothing and a rudraksha mala, a person candidate, but the appearance is uncertain given partial visibility.2010-07-23June 18 20102010-06-18June 27 20102010-06-27July 07 20102010-07-07 +1 copiesNovember 17 20092009-11-17 +1 copies
