July 02 20172017-07-02 +1 copiesA seated congregation of many devotees in a bright hall with white and red draped tables and pink-walled background. Foreground young men and boys wear saffron-orange cloth draped over the shoulders and white dhotis, with white and ash markings on their foreheads and bodies, rudraksha malas around their necks, and long hair. Some sit with hands pressed together in prayer. Behind them, rows of people in white and cream clothing sit on the floor and in chairs behind gold posts. A bare-chested man in center-left wears a saffron shawl. The scene reads as a satsang or group meditation gathering.2017-06-22 +1 copiesJuly 02 20172017-07-02 +1 copiesSeptember 23 20172017-09-23 +1 copiesOctober 07 20172017-10-07A large hall filled with seated meditators on orange mats, many wearing white dhotis and saffron or orange shawls, with several sadhus in orange and a bald man in a white kurta near the front right. Long gold-capped staffs stand among the rows, and portraits and deity statues line the walls. A man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed in the foreground. Many people are visible, sitting in rows and across the hall.2017-11-13A photograph of a large indoor gathering in a hall with yellow walls and wooden panels. In the foreground, a man with long dark hair, a red-orange robe, a rudraksha mala and a vibhuti mark on his forehead sits on an ornate orange-cushioned throne, smiling, with a silver trident beside him. Around him, many devotees in white and saffron/orange clothes sit with both hands resting on their heads in a group posture, with wrists and arms crossing overhead. Most faces are partially hidden by the raised arms. Several people wear beaded necklaces and gold-coloured bangles. The scene suggests a group practice led from the throne. The seated man has distinctive long hair, saffron robes and rudraksha beads, so appearance is a probable match to a person but cues are not fully certain from this view.2014-12-28A crowded indoor hall of seated devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas, many with red or orange shawls and red-orange necklaces, raising their arms with hands on their heads in a unified gesture. Many are seated on striped red, pink and purple mats. In the centre stands a large red and silver ornate throne (peetha) with a red seat, flanked by a silver trident (trishul) and a standing fan. Behind the throne a dark-haired woman in red sits on a low seat. Pink walls display framed religious pictures and a banner reading 'Nithyananda Dhyanapeetham'. Chairs in the foreground are red-upholstered. No one is clearly identifiable as the a person on the throne, which is empty of a clear occupant.2017-07-02 +1 copiesJuly 16 20152015-07-16August 15 20172017-08-15 +1 copiesJuly 16 20152015-07-16July 10 20152015-07-10
