Night procession at an open-air venue lit with strings of coloured lights and hanging decorative banners. A man in the centre wears a red dhoti, a red-and-gold top and a long flower garland, walking beneath a striped multicoloured umbrella on a tall pole. Ahead, a group of women in saffron and white saris and several men in saffron dhotis, some bare-chested, carry flowers and hand drums, one holding a bouquet of yellow blooms. Marigold garlands wrap the pillars and a rangoli is drawn on the pavement. Onlookers in white, grey and pastel clothing stand along the edge and watch.2016-12-05December 09 20162016-12-09A procession at dusk in an open courtyard. Behind him, a line of people in orange and saffron garments carry red and yellow flags. Bare-chested men with rudraksha beads and white body markings walk in the procession. To the right, a gold-decorated figure stands near a red-draped altar, and seated attendants with bare torsos sit by offerings of flowers and lamps.
