Outdoor photograph at dusk of a long line of women standing on bare dirt beside a rocky, tree-covered slope. Many wear saffron-orange sarees or dresses with rudraksha malas, and others wear white kurtas, white sarees with gold borders and white dupattas. Some hold small bags, papers or water containers, and a few look toward the group. A plastic bucket and a concrete basin sit in the foreground.

Outdoor photo at sunset of a large crowd of devotees standing in a loose line on dusty ground. Many wear saffron orange robes while others wear white dhotis and white shawls. A rocky hillside with trees sits to the left under a hazy sky. On the right, a shaded open pavilion holds a tall dried bamboo-like pole decorated with leaves, beside a fire setup with brass vessels and a tripod, where a man in white dhoti and shawl tends the ritual. Large concrete basins with white liquid and a blue plastic drum sit in the foreground. No single individual can be clearly identified as the teacher from appearance alone.

A large group of young women and girls stands outdoors on a gravel ground in the late light, many wearing saffron-orange saris and long blouses with gold-coloured borders and rudraksha malas around their necks. Several have white or cream forehead markings and some wear white garments in the background. They stand close together in a loose gathering with a blurred green tree line behind them. A small dark shoulder bag is slung across one woman's orange sari.

Outdoor photo at sunset on a dusty open ground with trees, rooftops and a light pole behind. A line of devotees stands along the left-to-right foreground, mostly women and children in white clothing: several in plain white kurtas and white dhotis, some with white shawls or scarves draped over their shoulders. A few wear orange or saffron-coloured stoles and a cream sari with a red-orange border. Some wear yellow and white stoles. A woman in a white kurta holds an orange bag, and a young boy in a white shirt stands at the centre-left. A blue plastic barrel stands beside the line on the right. No clearly identifiable central figure is visible.

Outdoor photo of a group walking along a dirt path up a rocky, scrubby hillside with palm and thorny trees behind them. About twenty-five young women in white saris with yellow borders and beaded necklaces walk in a long line on the left, several holding small items. In the foreground a young man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a red undershirt walks barefoot, and to the right a young man in a long orange robe walks alone with hands clasped behind his back. A man in white and yellow stands at the far left edge.

A group of about twenty women and a few men walk along a dirt path beside dry scrubland and a palm tree, on what looks like a hill-side track. Most women wear white saris with gold or yellow borders and white necklaces; one woman in the centre wears a white kurta and white trousers. On the right, a young man in a saffron-orange robe and sandals stands at the front, with a red shawl-clad man in white and another in orange kurta behind him. On the left edge a man in white with a yellow shawl stands near a stone post. Rough stones and small pillars are scattered on the ground.

Outdoor photo of a large group of devotees seated on a dry reddish-brown hillside among small trees and rocks. Most wear white garments with orange shawls or orange stoles draped over their shoulders. Some seated figures wear white or light-coloured saris and salwar-style clothing, and a few in the foreground hold bags or sit with their hands in their laps. A standing figure in white with an orange stole stands at the centre-back. A tall gopuram-style temple tower rises on the right, with hills and an overcast sky behind. Small water bottles rest on the rocks near the right edge.

Outdoors on a bare dirt ground, a line of roughly twenty people in white clothing stand facing forward with palms pressed together in anjali. Many wear white kurtas or shirts with white dhotis or lungis, and several women wear white saris, some with orange or saffron stoles draped over their shoulders. Behind them are tall trees, a few palm trees, a large grey boulder and a rocky hill under a pale sky, with strings of small white bunting across the background. No single figure is clearly identifiable as a person, so no candidate is marked.

A photograph of a dusty dirt path winding through dry scrub and tall green trees under a pale evening sky. A group of about fifteen women in white saris walks in a line, some with coloured borders and shawls. At the front, a man in orange robes walks barefoot, and a second figure in orange walks behind them, while a man in white clothes with an orange shawl stands at the right edge. Large grey rocks sit at the left foreground. The scene suggests a walking circuit or pilgrimage around a hill.
