December 08 20112011-12-08December 08 20112011-12-08A photograph of an outdoor temple-garden setting with sandy ground and young trees. In the foreground, a figure in saffron-orange robes with long swept-back hair and a large gold necklace of bead-like ornaments stands bent forward, face pressed close to a tree trunk, holding a small white stick. Beside them, a man in white dhoti and a shaved-headed man in orange cloth with a rudraksha mala watch. A small black deity murti in red garment stands on a pedestal behind on the left, with white-and-red painted platforms nearby. Two more people are visible in the background. A prominent identification claim is not established from appearance alone, so the central figure is described only by role and attire.2011-12-08Outdoor temple-garden scene among trees and sandy ground. A figure in saffron-orange dhoti and wrap with gold border, wearing a multi-strand gold necklace, gold armbands and a long swept-back hair, leans forward with one hand on a tree trunk and holds a slender rod. Beside them a shaved-headed man in orange garment and rudraksha mala stands watching. Behind them are small black stone deity forms on red-and-white pedestals, one with a red cloth, and a palm plant in a red pot. The figure's appearance with long hair, saffron clothing and multiple gold ornaments gives a person candidate role, while the standing man is a devotee or sannyasi. Several white-clad people are visible in the background.2011-12-08December 19 20112011-12-19A photograph of a bare-footed man in saffron-orange robes standing inside a white-stone circled plot at the base of a large tree supported by wooden poles. He wears a long rudraksha mala around his neck and bangles on his wrist, and his right hand touches his forehead near a red tilak. Behind him is a black stone deity murti garlanded with yellow and orange flowers, set on a red and white painted base inscribed with Tamil lettering, beside an arched stone niche. The setting is a sandy temple-grounds courtyard with green trees and a white tent in the background. The man appears to be a Swamiji (probable) by his long swept-back hair, saffron robes and multiple rudraksha malas.2011-12-09May 05 20122012-05-05April 30 20122012-04-30 +2 copiesSeptember 26 20122012-09-26September 27 20122012-09-27September 17 20122012-09-17Outdoor photo at a temple grounds with a sacred tree wrapped in a white-and-red painted base. A person with long swept-back dark hair, a gold bead necklace and orange saffron robes bows forward with forehead pressed to the trunk. Two men in orange robes stand behind, one at left with palms pressed together in namaskar and a rudraksha mala. Kolam patterns in white powder decorate the earth around the tree, which is bordered by white stones. Behind them are a black Shiva linga draped with a yellow-orange garland and a second shrine with a white cloth-covered base, plus ornate stone arches with a lion-face carving.2011-12-21
