A central figure in a flowing saffron-orange robe with long, swept-back dark hair walks barefoot across a pale floor between two lines of devotees. The figure is in the centre of the frame with hands at the chest in greeting. Devotees on both sides stand with palms pressed together in namaste on orange and blue mats, wearing white dhotis, white kurtas and sarees. A tripod-mounted camera stands at the left edge of the frame. Some devotees wear rudraksha malas and orange shawls, and several children stand at the front. The scene suggests a satsang or darshan-style welcome.2010-07-24A photograph of an indoor hall with a row of white plastic chairs and a central aisle marked with yellow lines. A figure in a flowing orange-saffron robe with long, dark, swept-back hair walks forward with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered. The figure's distinctive hair and saffron robe are a person cues, though the appearance is not fully certain. To the left, a man in a white dhoti and shirt bows with folded hands. Behind them, participants in white and cream ritual clothes, several women in cream saris with gold borders and an orange sari, stand with hands joined. Men in white kurtas and dhotis line the right side with hands folded, and one seated woman in a wheelchair appears at the lower right. Festive woven hangings with elephant motifs in orange, yellow and red decorate the ceiling and pillars, and a dark curtain hangs at the back.2006-10-08Indoor ashram hall with a white ceiling canopy and orange-and-patterned hanging drapes. Along a central aisle lined with devotees pressing palms together in anjali, a woman in an orange sari with a dark shawl walks forward, while a man in a white dhoti and orange sash carries a brass aarti tray. Another man in white dhoti with a bare chest raises one arm toward the aisle. Devotees in white kurtas, saffron-trimmed garments and red or green saris stand on colourful woven mats along both sides. Projector screens and a stage backdrop are visible at the far end. The scene resembles an aarti welcome procession.2010-12-02September 17 20122012-09-17
