A photograph inside a whitewashed hall with a corrugated roof and exposed wooden rafters, decorated with tall patterned cloth banners in red, blue, teal and yellow. At the centre, a woman in a bright orange-red sari stands before a small white altar draped with an orange cloth bearing a painted design. Around her a crowd of devotees stands and sits on striped woven mats: men in white dhotis and shirts, several in maroon or red shawls, and women in saris in pink, green and yellow. Some are seated on the right with their hands folded, while others stand with their backs to the camera facing the altar. A light fixture hangs from the ceiling and a small chair sits at the left edge.2009-02-04February 04 20092009-02-04A photograph inside a plain white hall with a corrugated roof, where a large group sits cross-legged on woven mats facing a raised platform. A figure in orange robes stands at the centre of the platform in front of an orange cloth backdrop, a framed deity image garlanded with flowers, and brass lamps. A white throne-like chair sits beside the platform. Several seated devotees wear white dhotis and shirts, and women in white saris sit on the right. Behind the teacher hangs an orange cloth with a framed picture and garlands, and a white chair stands beside. Yellow and blue decorative banners hang from the ceiling. Devotees sit cross-legged on mats while women in white saris and a girl with a braid sit to the right. A ceiling fan and a loudspeaker are visible at the left. The scene suggests a satsang at a Kodikkan Ratha Yatra stop. Many seated devotees wear white clothes, and one woman in the foreground wears an orange sari with her hair in a long braid. Colourful hanging cloth panels with bird and floral patterns, trimmed with orange fringe, line both sides of the hall, and small orange lanterns hang from the ceiling. At the stage, a small figure in white sits before an elaborately decorated altar with garlands, a red cloth and a deity murti, with a red drape on each side. The scene appears to be a satsang or programme gathering. A dove logo sits in the upper-left corner.2007-02-15Indoor ashram hall under a metal-framed corrugated roof, with a seated congregation in white clothes on woven mats facing a central dais.
