Night-time ritual at a stone shrine with a carved pillared canopy and red cloth hangings. A large deity murti with a crown and garlands, flanked by brass lamps and a kalasha-style offering in front. Several people stand before the shrine: a bald man in red robes at center, a woman and a man in saffron-orange garments, and men in white with orange shawls at left and right, some with hands folded in prayer. A figure in orange sits at the base of the altar with offerings. Puja or padapuja-style worship in progress.

A photograph of an outdoor stone shrine pavilion with dark grey carved pillars and red curtains draped between them. Inside, a large deity murti with a crown and garlands stands behind a black stone abhishekam basin where a shivalinga-like pillar is being bathed. Three men in saffron-orange robes stand around it: one bald man on the left with his arms folded, one older bald man in the middle, and a long-haired man in orange leaning forward to pour or touch the sacred stone. Leafy green garlands hang along the roof, and a small white seated statue and brass vessels sit at the side, with trees in the background.

Night photograph of a small white marble shrine with carved pillars and red velvet curtains draped at the sides. Inside stand two painted deity murti figures, one in orange-red with a crown and ornate necklaces, the other in red with a tall crown and jewelled ornaments. Brass lamps, a kalasha-style vessel and offerings sit on a white-draped altar. In the foreground a figure in orange robes with an orange shawl bends toward the altar, while a second man in white dhoti and orange shawl stands with palms pressed together holding a tray. A third person in white stands further back near the shrine. The scene suggests puja or aarti at the shrine.

Dusk worship at an open stone shrine with red velvet curtains tied to its pillars. Two painted deity murti sit inside, one seated with a crown and garlands and one standing beside with a pale face and red-orange garment. Brass oil lamps and offering plates stand on a white-draped platform in front. A figure in saffron-orange robes with long hair bows with joined hands toward the shrine on the left, while a man in white dhoti with an orange shawl stands at right holding a brass plate. Another person in white stands in the background near a tree.

Night-time photograph of a stone shrine pavilion with grey carved pillars and red curtains, at a temple-like site. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes stands at the front left, facing the shrine, with a visible shoulder cloth. Inside the shrine, a man in saffron robes stands at the centre, another in orange bends over a seated figure, and deity murtis are dressed in green and red cloth. Brass lamps, a kalasha-like vessel and offerings sit on low wooden stands. People in white dhotis and orange shawls stand to the left near a ceremonial staff. A white-walled building with a sign is behind. This suggests a puja at a shrine during a girivalam circuit.

Night photograph inside a pillared temple shrine with red curtains hung at the sides. Several men in orange-saffron shawls and white dhotis attend a metal and gold-coloured murti group at left, which includes a colourful deity figure in green and red garments. A man in orange dhoti bends forward near a dark metal vessel and ritual brass pots and trays lie on the platform. A standing man in a white kurta and dhoti with an orange shawl watches at right, while another man sits in the foreground. Oil lamps and brass items are set on the stone floor. No figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance.

Night temple ritual under a stone pavilion with carved pillars. Two statues of a deity pair, one seated figure with a crown and garland, stand on a stepped platform above a dark stone shivalingam set in a basin. A priest in white dhoti and bare chest pours liquid over the lingam from a metal vessel, while another white-clad man bends low beside the basin. A standing man in an orange-saffron robe with a beaded mala and gold-toned pendant necklace watches at right. Brass pots, marigold garlands and scattered petals sit on the wet floor.

Night-time photograph of an outdoor temple arati at a small grey stone shrine with red velvet curtains draped on its sides. Inside the shrine sit two deity murtis, one with a crown and garlands, behind an orange cloth on the altar. Brass lamps and offering plates stand before them. A standing man in white dhoti and white shirt with an orange shawl holds a bell and lamp-like ritual object toward the deities. Three or four seated devotees in white with orange shawls kneel in the foreground. A large yellow-wrapped shivalinga-style object sits to the left. Lights and a hanging photo are visible in the background.
