Dozens of devotees sit on mats in rows with palms pressed together in anjali, many bare-chested with rudraksha malas and white dhoti or veshti; some wear white kurtas and orange cloth. Behind them, decorated deity murti and a festive mandap with hanging lanterns and greenery frame the scene. A slightly built white-bearded man in white on the left also sits with hands folded. The setting suggests a sacred night ritual or satsang. Several participants have ceremonial ash marks and gold chains.2016-12-15October 01 20172017-10-01December 02 20162016-12-02A large seated crowd of bare-chested men and some women in white dhotis and cloths, many wearing rudraksha malas and white vibhuti or sandalwood markings on their foreheads and chests, sit on a red floor covering with eyes closed or heads bowed in meditation. A few people in the foreground have hands folded or fingers to their faces. Several visible figures wear wraps and beads, but no single person in front is clearly a person; the shaved and bearded men in the middle and left are devotees. Many people are visible, with several more partially seen at the edges.2016-12-07December 02 20162016-12-02December 07 20162016-12-07May 26 20172017-05-26A large evening gathering of devotees seated on colourful striped woven mats in a tent-like hall. Most wear white kurtas and cream clothing with red-and-maroon shawls draped over their shoulders; a few wear marigold garlands and a gold pendant. Several sit with palms pressed together in namaste or hands raised in prayer. In the upper centre, a figure in a saffron-orange robe stands near a brass lamp stand and a drum, while other white-clad attendants stand behind a stage with a large screen. A banner with lettering hangs in the background. No single figure in orange is clearly identifiable as a specific person from appearance alone.2015-09-15A dense crowd of mostly bare-chested men seated closely together, many wearing rudraksha malas and white or pale necklaces, with several eyes closed in meditation. A bald man with glasses sits near the left, and a bearded man with a white cord and mala appears at right. The foreground shows blurred heads and shoulders.2016-12-07
