A seated man in an orange-red turban and matching orange-red robe with a gold-bordered orange shawl sits cross-legged on a floor during a ritual. He wears rimless glasses, a long rudraksha mala and a small pendant, and holds a small stick or leaf in his hands while looking down. Before him are a silver bowl with a ladle holding yellow contents, an open book, yellow and white flowers, green leaves, and a white plastic bag. The dark background shows a window and a wall.2013-11-02A man in a saffron-orange turban and saffron-orange draped robe sits at a low altar beside an open flame. He wears clear-framed glasses, a long mala of dark and gold beads with a gold pendant, and a bracelet of dark beads. Ash markings are on his forehead and upper arm. He holds a small ladle over the fire, with a brass vessel to the left and a printed booklet at right. A dark background with a red pillar and a hanging yellow-and-teal textile. Appearance suggests a person (saffron turban, ornate gold-and-bead mala, ceremonial fire), but the identification is uncertain, so this is a priest or sannyasi performing a fire ritual.2015-11-18A seated man in a rust-orange turban and orange-saffron robe reads from an open book beside a flame in a dark hall. He wears clear-rimmed glasses, a dark beaded mala with gold bead strands across his chest, and wrist beads, with white ash markings on his upper arm. Before him a brass dish holds a small flame, and a brass pot and offerings sit on a wooden platform. Behind him hangs a patterned cloth banner with tassels. Swamiji (probable): the orange turban, saffron robe, rudraksha mala and gold beads fit the presentation described, and he is reading a text during the satsang.2015-11-18November 02 20132013-11-02December 09 20132013-12-09November 18 20152015-11-18December 15 20132013-12-15February 26 20132013-02-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a man in saffron-orange robes and an orange turban performing a fire ritual at night against a black background.
