December 26 20122012-12-26 +1 copiesA photograph of a satsang-style gathering indoors. On the left, a man with long dark swept-back hair, an orange-saffron shawl and a rudraksha mala sits smiling beside a gilded lion-headed ornament on a plush maroon cushion. On the right, a man in white with his palms pressed together in namaskar faces him. Between them a woman in a white and orange sari with a red mala kneels and speaks. Behind them several people in orange and white stand in a row with hands folded, with a curtain and a potted plant in the background.2012-12-28A seated man in orange saffron robes and a long dark rudraksha mala sits on a gold and red throne, handing a tray to a standing woman in a white chikankari-style outfit with a dark bead necklace and a name badge. A second woman in a red and white sari with a bead mala stands behind the throne, and a gilded deity murti decorated with yellow and purple flower garlands is visible in the background beside a red and orange banner. The man wears an orange sleeveless top under his robes and has long swept-back hair with a crown-like adornment absent; cues are saffron clothing, long hair and rudraksha mala on a ceremonial throne. The scene appears to be a formal public presentation at an ashram satsang hall.2010-10-09December 13 20092009-12-13May 06 20162016-05-06A photograph of a seated man in orange-saffron robes and a long rudraksha mala wearing a horizontal white forehead mark, sitting on a gilded throne with a peacock-feather fan at left and a golden lion carving at lower left. He is handing a folded white paper to a young woman in a white top and red-orange shawl with a long ponytail, who sits with her palms pressed together in greeting. Behind them are a gold-leaf kalasha-style ornament and a silver-toned ceremonial staff, with orange and white latticed screens in the background. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), identified by the saffron robes, long swept-back hair, multiple rudraksha beads and ceremonial throne setting.2014-09-13July 01 20132013-07-01October 20 20132013-10-20 +1 copiesA photo of a seated long-haired figure in a rust-orange draped robe with a red and yellow flower garland, leaning forward and raising both arms to meet the raised palms of a man in a white kurta with an orange-red shawl and an event lanyard. Behind them, a woman in an orange sari with a gold trim and a white-and-gold sari stand near a hall; a red-and-gold cushion and a dark maroon drape frame the scene. The seated figure is marked as a person by long swept-back hair, an orange robe and a flower garland; the appearance cues are moderately clear, so this is an appearance-based label only. The man in white and the two standing women are devotees attending the event.2013-05-28A seated person in orange-brown robes with long dark hair pulled back wears a red beaded garland with gold accents and gold bangles. Their hands extend to a kneeling man in a white polo shirt with a small badge and a rudraksha-style mala, who holds a folded white paper or card. Behind them, several women in white, orange and yellow saris with red shawls and beaded malas sit and stand in a bright room, with a wall air-conditioner and a window visible. An orange towel rests on the red seat in the foreground. Appearance is consistent with a person seated receiving the kneeling devotee, though identity is uncertain from appearance alone.2013-05-28May 09 20152015-05-09May 17 20142014-05-17
