The prone figure wears saffron-orange garments with gold trim, a gold ornament on the head, and dark hair in a bun. Around them stand a crowd of about twenty people in saffron and white: sannyasis in orange robes and rudraksha malas, men in white dhotis and shawls, and women in orange and blue saris, several with palms pressed together in namaskar. A man holds a bunch of flowers and another stands with a phone raised. Pillars and a sunlit roof edge frame the scene, a traditional ritual of reverence performed before a gathering.2012-09-12September 09 20112011-09-09September 09 20112011-09-09August 17 20122012-08-17A prostrate devotee in orange robes with a gold-trimmed cloth lies flat on a leopard-print mat on a stone pavement, arms stretched forward, hair in a bun with gold ornaments. Near her, a young man in an orange robe kneels with his hands joined in prayer. Around them, a crowd stands with palms pressed together or hands held in reverence; several women wear white saris with orange shawls, one woman wears a red sari, and a man in white with an orange shawl and a red tilak stands at the right edge.
