Beside them stands a golden deity murti with a crown. In the background a man in an orange robe wears a white ID badge, and another devotee with a white forehead mark stands near. Brass railings and a dark red curtain frame the setting. Swamiji (probable): the man wears a rust-red shawl, long swept-back hair and a dark beard, matching his role as the officiating guru blessing the boy during the puja.2017-06-19July 02 20172017-07-02 +1 copiesDecember 21 20162016-12-21Photograph of a ritual interaction at an indoor hall. A bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair, a white forehead mark, a rudraksha mala and a saffron-orange shawl stands at right, extending his right hand to touch the head of a younger man in a white kurta with a rudraksha mala and a saffron shawl, who raises his palm. Behind them a third person in white garments and gold jewellery sits or stands. Red curtains and a gold-coloured ornate panel form the background. The scene suggests a blessing or energy transmission, consistent with a person cues: dreadlocks, shawl, rudraksha mala and forehead marking on the central figure.2017-08-09A photograph of a man with long dark hair, a white vertical tilak on his forehead, a white and red flower garland and a brown-orange shawl over bare shoulders, placing his right hand on the head of a young boy in a white kurta with an orange lanyard. The boy stands with his palms raised together in respectful greeting. A rudraksha-style mala is worn on his wrist. Behind them is a red cloth backdrop, a gold pole, a white air-conditioning unit and a red cushion, with a partially visible man in white dhoti and rudraksha mala at the left edge. The setting suggests a blessing or darshan moment. The man's appearance, with long hair, brown-orange shawl, flower garland and forehead marking, is a probable match for the Swamiji cues, so the desc labels him Swamiji (probable) as the one giving the blessing.2016-07-01A photograph of a long-haired man with dreadlocks, a white vibhuti line on his forehead, and gold ornaments and rudraksha bracelets, bare-chested in a saffron-orange cloth, placing his hand on the head of a young boy kneeling before him. The boy wears an orange shawl and rudraksha beads and looks up attentively. Behind them, a golden deity murti stands beside a brass lamp and a brass bell, with other people in orange and white clothing seated in the background.2017-07-07A photograph of a bare-chested man with long dreadlocked hair, a red-and-gold shawl draped over his shoulder, a gold chain necklace, and white vibhuti marks on his forehead, reaching to touch the head of a young boy in a white embroidered kurta. The boy raises his hands in front of his face, smiling. Golden deity murti figures and a gold trident stand in the foreground, and several white-clad devotees with rudraksha malas stand behind them. The man appears to be a person, based on the long dreadlocked hair, gold necklace and red-and-gold shawl; he is blessing the boy, and the scene suggests a ritual blessing.2017-08-08 +1 copiesApril 13 20182018-04-13 +1 copies
