Concentric petals in orange-red, purple, yellow and green surround a pale blue central disc painted with a red-orange sun with radiating rays. No people are visible, only a corner of a red cloth at the right edge and a blurred figure's foot at the top left. The design is made from coloured powder arranged in a flower pattern.2016-01-15 +1 copiesDecember 12 20162016-12-12 +1 copiesA floor rangoli made of coloured powder on a grey concrete surface. The floral mandala is made of yellow and white flowers. Pointed red and pink petal shapes radiate outward, with pink lotus-like forms at the edges and loose yellow blossoms scattered around the border. A yellow cloth and a partly visible person's feet appear at the top edge. No people are prominent in the frame, and no readable text appears in the image.2016-12-15December 31 20082008-12-31A photograph of a floor rangoli, a colourful sand or powder design on pale tiles with no people visible. It is a large flower-like pattern with a central red circle bordered in orange, enclosing an eight-pointed star in blue and yellow-orange. Five small brass oil lamps sit in the centre, with a small red and gold decorative element among them. Ringing the centre are petal shapes in pink, green and yellow, separated by white outlines.2014-09-02A large, colourful floor rangoli in concentric rings of yellow, orange, green, magenta and blue, outlined in white powder. A central eight-petal flower in magenta and pink holds an orange centre and small star motifs, surrounded by green leaf shapes and spiral swirls. Outer rings show scalloped petals and teardrop shapes in blue and green. Shadows of a pillar or fence fall across the pattern. Partial legs in white clothing appear at the top edge, and no full person is visible.2008-12-31Close-up photo of a floor covered with a star-shaped pattern of coloured powders, a six-pointed design in bright green, mustard yellow and reddish-brown arranged around a central point on a dusty, streaked concrete floor. Only the toes of a pair of dark shoes are visible at the top left corner, and a small cream-coloured container sits at the top right edge. No people are fully visible in the scene. The powder design resembles a kolam or rangoli made for a ritual setting.2012-05-02
