June 10 20172017-06-10Photo of a gilded ornate throne with a tiered golden peetha in a temple-style hall with red drapes. A seated man in an orange-brown robe and orange turban wears a rudraksha mala and a white flower garland and gestures with raised hands. A large painted backdrop shows a multi-armed deity holding a trident-like staff and a lamp. Golden trident stands flank the throne, with flowers and an oil lamp nearby. In the foreground, a blurred figure in white raises a flame or lamp. Swamiji (probable): the seated man wears an orange turban, rudraksha mala and saffron-toned robe on a throne, consistent with the page's Swamiji attribution.2016-10-05A man with long swept-back dark hair, a rudraksha-style red-brown garment, a red tilak, a white and red flower garland, gold bangles and a gold waist belt stands at a golden pillar, holding a lit oil lamp in one hand and a small handbell in the other while gesturing toward the shrine. Beside him on a raised seat is a deity murti dressed in blue, orange and gold garments with silver-trimmed fabric and a gold crown, decorated with white and orange flower garlands. A red cloth hangs behind the pillar and small brass oil lamps sit at the bottom of the frame. A second attendant in orange cloth stands at the left edge. The setting is a temple-style ritual hall with draped cloth and gold decor, consistent with a puja or aarti.2016-05-22December 05 20162016-12-05A bearded man in a maroon robe and maroon turban sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne on a stage, hands raised in a blessing gesture, with a pink and gold garland around his neck and a rudraksha-style necklace visible. On the right, a deity murti is dressed in blue, orange and silver garments and flower garlands, with a red cloth draped behind and a brass oil lamp in the foreground. Small brass bowls with offerings and scattered flower petals sit on the red floor. The main figure's role appears to be performing an aarti or puja; no identification is made from appearance.2016-05-22A seated man in a rust-red robe and matching turban sits on an ornate gold-and-red throne on a stage, wearing a pink garland and gold necklace, with hands resting on red cushions and eyes lowered. Partial Kannada-script banner text is visible on the orange backdrop.2010-10-17A photo of a ritual inside a red-draped hall with a red carpet. A man in a long-sleeved red-brown robe and red dhoti, wearing a heavy gold garland and bangles, stands with palms together holding a small brass vessel and lamp. Behind him, a robed attendant in white dhoti and red shawl stands with hands folded. On the right, a deity murti sits on a golden peetha throne draped in orange and blue embroidered cloth, with garlands and a shiny gold-coloured canopy. A brass lamp stands nearby, and a white-filled bowl sits on a red cloth in the foreground. The scene suggests a pushpabhishekam and padapuja style ritual.2016-05-24March 11 20172017-03-11
