A photograph of a temple shrine with gilded arches and a green curtain backdrop. Central is a large golden deity murti with four arms, wearing an orange-red turban-style crown, garlands of white and red flowers, and rudraksha-style beaded necklaces. A consort figure with a green and red dress stands beside it. In the foreground, a silver peetha holds a lingam-like form draped with flower garlands, beaded necklaces and a lavender cloth, with a brass kalasha and a small brass lamp at its base. On the right, a smaller golden figure in a blue-backed niche wears a red garland. No living people are visible.2013-10-15October 02 20132013-10-02February 04 20142014-02-04October 12 20132013-10-12October 16 20132013-10-16January 18 20132013-01-18September 13 20132013-09-13October 15 20132013-10-15January 23 20132013-01-23Interior temple shrine photographed at night with a golden arched frame and carved stone pillars. Two large gilded deity murtis, one with a tall crown and one with a jewelled headdress, stand behind a Shiva lingam wrapped in red and yellow marigold garlands. Brass oil lamps stand on the floor, and orange and red drapes frame the space. A smaller figure in red clothing and a red headcloth sits before the lingam, presumably a priest or devotee, and a green-and-gold niche to the right holds a standing red-clad figure. No living people are clearly identifiable as a person.2011-11-20September 16 20132013-09-16A temple shrine with a central deity murti of Shiva and Parvati-like figures seated on a raised platform framed by an ornate gilded arch. The central murti wears a red and yellow head-cloth, a heavy beaded necklace and thick garlands, with a tall decorated crown-like headdress and a trident in one hand. Flanking figures stand with hands in anjali, wearing orange and maroon dhoti cloths, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and yellow marigold garlands. Brass kalasha-style oil lamps, a tray of offerings and a white cloth sit on the floor before the murti, with a saffron cloth and yellow flower garlands arranged on the platform. The statues are clearly sculptures, and no living people are visible.2014-09-30
