Outdoors under a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots, a bare-footed person in a red dhoti-style wrap with a gold border stands on a paved path with hands joined in prayer. To the right, a black stone murti of a seated figure in orange-saffron cloth, wearing an orange head covering, a garland of white flowers and ornaments, sits on a throne-like pedestal beneath a silver-framed arch draped with orange cloth. The base of the shrine is coated in red-orange paste or vermilion, with a small black altar and brass items in front. A glass box and low stone blocks are visible in the background.

A photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. A standing man in orange saffron clothes with a rudraksha mala around his neck and a white cloth on his left arm stands on a concrete path with palms joined in anjali, facing a black stone statue. The seated black stone statue, dressed in an orange cloth with garlands of marigolds and an orange head wrap, sits on a dark pedestal beneath a green draped canopy and an ornate silver arch. The pedestal and surrounding base are smeared with orange-red kumkum, and a small brass lamp sits nearby. A plain placard stands on the stone base. Earthen ground, a low wall and a concrete platform complete the scene.

Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots. On the left, a figure with long dark hair wearing an orange-saffron dhoti-style garment and a beaded necklace stands on a stone platform, facing right with hands together. On the right, a black stone deity murti seated on a pedestal wears an orange cloth, a red-and-orange headband, a white and yellow flower garland and a necklace. Before it stand a clear glass box and a small stone offering table, with scattered red and orange petals on the ground.

Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with hanging aerial roots and thin strands, a barefoot man in orange-saffron robes stands at left with palms pressed together in anjali mudra, a rudraksha mala around his neck. To the right, a black stone deity murti seated on a dark pedestal is draped in orange cloth and garlanded with yellow and magenta flower strands; it holds raised hands and has carved small figures at its base. A small grey stone bench and a red-painted platform with kumkum-stained base sit in the foreground, with a paved path and a low wall behind. The scene reads as a devotional visit at a tree shrine.

A photograph of an outdoor shrine beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots. A standing man with a shaved head wears a red dhoti-style garment with a gold border and stands barefoot with hands folded in prayer, facing a black stone deity murti on the right. The murti is draped in an orange-yellow cloth, wears an orange turban and an orange garment, and is garlanded with flowers. Its base is covered in red-orange pigment. A small black stone altar with brass lamps sits at the foot of the shrine on a stone floor. The setting is a tree-shaded temple courtyard with a low wall and trees behind.

A photograph of a banyan tree temple courtyard. A single standing man in an orange saffron dhoti and orange shawl, with long hair and a rudraksha mala across his chest, stands barefoot on a sandy path before a large black stone deity murti draped in orange cloth and garlanded with yellow and magenta flowers. Behind the figure, massive banyan roots and aerial prop roots spread across the courtyard. A small brass lamp or pot sits on a stone ledge in front of a red-painted pedestal, with a stone bench nearby and kolam drawings on the ground at lower left.
