December 15 20092009-12-15December 30 20092009-12-30Indoor photograph in a plain hall with a corrugated roof and white walls. On the right stands a large white painted bull statue (Nandi) with gold-coloured harness and garland details. Behind it is a gold-painted throne-like seat with a gold bull figure and a red cloth draped on top. Several people in saffron/orange robes stand around: a long-haired figure in orange sleeveless garment with a dark rudraksha mala at the centre, a shaved-headed monk in orange and another in white dhoti, and a bearded man in orange at the left edge. A bald man in white clothing stands at left. The scene appears to be a preparation or arrangement of ceremonial items.2009-12-30A workshop interior where a white sculpted bull, Nandi, stands on a blue-framed wooden platform beside a pink and gold Ganesha figure. Four people face the statues from behind: a woman in white with long dark hair, a man in a long orange robe with a red-bordered cloth, a small child in a peach shirt and white dhoti, and a woman in a sleeveless orange dress touching the bull's raised platform. Tools, a ladder, plastic bags and unfinished white deity figures lie around the corrugated-roof room.2009-12-15December 30 20092009-12-30December 15 20092009-12-15December 15 20092009-12-15A covered storage or preparation hall with orange drapes hanging along the right wall and shelves holding folded cloth and boxes. In the centre, a golden hamsa (swan) vahana mounted on a wooden cart with wheels is being inspected. A bare-chested sannyasi in orange cloth with a swept-back tied topknot reaches toward the golden bird. Around him, saffron-robed monastics and men in white dhotis and shirts look on, and a man in a grey shirt with an ID lanyard stands at left. A framed portrait of a saint hangs on the left wall. Several people are visible, and the scene is a photograph of a procession vehicle preparation.2009-12-29March 24 20082008-03-24A photograph inside a storage workshop lined with hanging orange and red fabric and shelves of folded cloth. In the centre a man with long dark hair wears a plain orange sleeveless wrap and stands beside a gilded wooden hamsa (swan) vahana mounted on a cart with a red cushioned seat. Around him several men in white dhotis, grey shirts and orange robes look on; one in orange wears a sash and another in white has a yellow shawl. Colourful costumes hang on the left. Seven people are visible.2009-12-29January 12 20152015-01-12Inside a covered workshop with a corrugated metal roof, several saffron-robed monastics stand among copper finials and kalasha-like conical copper pieces in the foreground. A man in a bright orange turban and saffron robe points toward the copper pieces while others look on. Behind them stand a painted Ganesha figure with a red trunk and a white bull statue, possibly a Nandi deity murti, plus a few men in white dhotis and shirts. Red-and-white striped wall panels and a pink curtain frame the scene.2009-12-11
