A photograph of a dry, open site with a long white-roofed single-storey building set against a rocky, scrubby hill under a bright blue sky with cumulus clouds. In the foreground, a concrete platform holds rows of white sacks and dark containers. Two people in white dhoti-style clothing, one with a saffron cloth over the shoulder, stand at the platform steps near the rows of sacks, while a third person sits nearby. Palm trees and green bushes surround the compound, with a parked white vehicle beside the building.

Outdoor photograph of a procession walking along a dirt path beside a row of white-capped concrete pillars or plinths on a raised white platform. Behind them is a long white-roofed building with red-trimmed walls and parked white SUVs, backed by a scrubby, tree-dotted hill under a partly cloudy sky. On the right, about ten people walk in a group: several in white dhotis and shirts, and a central figure in an orange-saffron robe with a bare head, under a multicoloured canopy umbrella carried on a pole by an attendant in white. Count of visible people is approximately ten.

A photograph of a dusty clearing in front of a white single-storey building with a corrugated roof and red painted decorative borders around its windows and doorway. A small multicoloured canopy stands over the entrance. A rocky, scrub-covered hill rises behind the building. Several people walk across the ground: two in saffron/orange robes, several in white dhoti and shirt, and a person in a white dhoti with an orange shawl standing at right holding a video camera on his shoulder. A silver SUV is parked at left and scaffolding stands at right beside water tanks.

A photograph of an open dusty red-earth ground in front of a wooded rocky hill with a flagpole bearing an orange flag. Several people stand with their backs to the camera, facing the hill: on the left a figure in white with long dark hair, a bald man in white dhoti and shirt, and on the right a bare-chested man in saffron-orange cloth and a woman or person in orange, plus another person in white holding a large orange umbrella. Trees and small structures with signboards line the left edge under a pale blue sky.

Outdoor photo of a dirt path beside a row of white-capped black stone lingams or pedestals set in a concrete bed with red-and-white curb edging. Three monks in saffron-orange robes walk in a line, the middle one shielded by an orange umbrella, followed by two men in white dhotis and shirts, and another man in white at the far right. A green forested hill rises behind a small raised stage with a red canopy, palm trees and a street lamp stand nearby, under a partly cloudy blue sky.

Outdoor photograph of a temple-like open courtyard at the base of a green hill near Tiruvannamalai, with a sunburst behind the hill. Rows of dark stone Shiva lingams sit on a low white-and-red striped platform beside white pillars and stone Nandi figures. At the center, a figure in white robes with an orange-saffron head covering sits on a white draped platform with a kalasha and oil lamp in front, beside a small white-clad attendant near a shed. A green signboard stands at the left. Dirt ground and trees frame the scene.

Outdoor photo on a dirt road in front of a low red-brick building with a white corrugated roof and a wire fence. A forested hill rises behind the buildings. A group walks toward the camera: a man in white dhoti and shirt on the left, a man in a white dhoti with a white shawl and necklace, and two men in saffron-orange robes, one holding a staff. Several other men in white dhotis and a man in a maroon shirt stand or walk in the background. A white small building and a blue plastic chair are at right.
