A seated figure in saffron-orange robes sits with palms pressed together in namaste on a zebra-striped throne decorated with a garland of marigolds and red, white and yellow flowers, under a pink draped tent canopy. A cameraman in white with an orange shawl stands behind a tripod-mounted video camera. Purple orchids, fruit and a small bowl sit at the base of the throne. In the foreground, several people are partly visible at the bottom edge, one in orange and others in white and dark clothing. The setting is an outdoor festival stage with a red carpet and a banner at right.2008-12-30December 30 20082008-12-30October 09 20082008-10-09December 30 20082008-12-30October 01 20082008-10-01A photograph of a seated figure on a flower-decorated throne at an indoor event, draped in garlands of white and orange flowers. The seated man wears a saffron-orange robe, a gold-toned necklace and a long flowing hairstyle, and smiles toward a woman in white who kneels before him with her head bowed. Around them are shaved-headed devotees in orange robes, some holding long bamboo poles with orange flags, and a cameraman with a video camera at the left edge. Several seated people in the foreground are viewed from behind. Appearance-based cues on the throned figure, including long hair, saffron robes and ornate gold necklace, give a probable Swamiji (probable) identification with the role of the seated guru receiving devotion.2006-07-11A seated man in flowing saffron-orange robes sits on a white cushioned throne-style chair on a stage, with hands clasped in his lap and bare feet visible below. He has long, swept-back dark hair, a red bindi on his forehead and a rudraksha mala around his neck. A microphone on a stand is positioned in front of him. Behind him, a larger ornate gold throne holds a standing or seated figure in matching orange robes, rendered as a statue or portrait. Yellow and pink flower garlands decorate the stage floor. Swamiji (probable) appears as the seated speaker, with long swept-back hair, saffron robes and rudraksha mala.2007-01-05A photograph of a long-haired person seated in an outdoor garden setting, wearing an orange-saffron shawl over orange clothing and a beaded mala necklace of light beads. The person sits in a zebra-striped upholstered chair, hands clasped in the lap, speaking and looking to the side. Beside them stands a white pedestal with a small easel-style frame and a vase of pink and white flowers. A saffron cushion and an orange umbrella rest behind on a table, with green lawn and a brick path behind. A partially visible person with white hair sits at the right edge.2012-07-15A photograph of a seated man in an orange saffron robe and a long rudraksha mala, with long dark hair swept back and a red tilak on his forehead, smiling warmly at a devotee. The devotee in a white shirt kneels in the lower left with palms pressed together in a gesture of reverence. Behind them is a decorated altar draped in red and gold cloth, with pink gladioli, yellow marigolds, purple flowers and green foliage arranged in front, plus a brass pot and a garland-hung deity murti in the background. The scene suggests a padapuja, a ritual of honouring a guru's feet. A small visible bird logo appears in the upper left corner.2010-07-27February 15 20132013-02-15October 01 20082008-10-01December 22 20092009-12-22
