Outdoor photo of a large seated congregation on woven mats under a corrugated roof strung with colourful cloth banners and bunting. Many men in white dhotis and shirts sit in rows, some wearing yellow shoulder cords, others in checked shirts, a saffron-robed figure and a person in yellow at left. Palm trees and a thatched hut frame the scene. At the far end, a raised platform holds a white-clad figure seated before a red-and-white pillared shrine with a statue and tall lamp poles. Many people are visible, so the count is a range.2010-10-212009-GLIMPSES-OF-NAVARATRI-CELEBRATIONOutdoor satsang on an orange cloth-covered mat under a corrugated roof, with palm trees and orange buildings behind. A small figure in orange robes sits at the far front on a raised platform, facing a large seated audience. Most attendees wear white, cream and pastel salwar or sari, with some in orange and pink; many have long braids and others have grey hair. Several older women sit on white plastic chairs at right. Stone lamp pillars and a carved stone deity murti stand at left, with hanging tassels and bunting overhead. A sound speaker sits at the right edge of the stage.2011-02-25December 24 20082008-12-24December 16 20102010-12-16August 31 20152015-08-31December 24 20082008-12-24December 29 20102010-12-29October 01 20082008-10-01December 23 20062006-12-23A large outdoor crowd sits densely packed between grey stone walls at dusk, with palm trees visible above the wall tops. Most people wear white clothes, and several women wear yellow, orange, pink and green saris with gold borders. Many have rudraksha or beaded malas and gold pendants. In the foreground a man with short grey-black hair and a bead mala sits facing away from the camera, while a seated man in white with a ceremonial marking is near the centre. The gathering looks like a satsang or discourse audience. No a person candidate is clearly identifiable in the frame.2010-12-29A large outdoor crowd of devotees sits on bare ground in front of a raised stage area under a clear blue sky, with tall trees and palms behind. Many wear white clothing, with some in orange or saffron, and a few women wear white and orange saris. Men in white shirts with rudraksha-style necklaces sit in rows. A small golden shrine structure stands at the left edge beside a tree line, and a metal-framed pavilion with a tarpaulin roof sits to the right. Several people stand on the raised platform, including a figure in white at the centre. The scene resembles a procession or dwajarohanam gathering, though no clear ritual action is visible.2006-12-23
