A large black stone deity murti stands within an ornate silver arch, wearing an orange cloth, a red-and-orange headwrap, and garlands of yellow and red flowers. Several arms are visible holding ritual objects. In the foreground, a figure in an orange robe with a shaved head bows with hands together before the murti, and a second person in white stands at the right with hands folded in prayer. Two people in saffron-orange robes kneel with their backs to the camera at the lower left, one with a head wrap and one with long dark hair, both wearing flower garlands, hands folded in worship. A small brass kalasha with a garland stands on a red rock base in front of a plaque reading Dakshinamurthy Shrine, with an oil lamp and flowers. Trees and dry earth surround the shrine outdoors.2008-12-27August 22 20112011-08-22
