A crowded interior of a Hindu temple with blue-painted pillars and an orange-lit shrine with a deity murti in the background. Devotees stand in a dense group with palms pressed together in namaskar. Men in white dhotis and shirts, several bare-chested men wearing rudraksha malas and yellow cloths, and women in saris stand with white sacred ash marks on their foreheads and arms. A small framed picture hangs on the left wall. The camera is slightly blurred, and the scene appears to be a devotional gathering or puja.

A crowd of devotees stands in a temple courtyard at night, many with hands pressed together in namaskar or clasped before them. Most men wear white dhotis and shirts, some with lanyards around their necks, while women wear white or cream saris with gold borders and a few wear red or maroon saris. Barricades with yellow-garlanded posts line the walkway, and stone temple pillars and gopuram architecture rise behind them. A man in a striped blue-and-white shirt presses his palms together near the center, and a few people look toward the temple entrance. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance in this view.

In the centre, a man with long dark hair wears a saffron-orange robe, a multi-strand gold-and-beaded garland, and gold armbands, with his hands folded in front of him. Beside him, a bald man in an orange robe wears a long gold-toned pendant necklace, and a second bald man in orange wears a similar garland. A bare-chested man in the foreground wears a rudraksha-style mala and a red mark on his forehead. Many devotees in white shirts and dhotis, and women in saris, press around them. A banana plant and a palm-leaf decoration hang overhead.

Beside him, a bald man in orange robes and a shawl stands among others. A bare-chested older man with a pink cloth over his shoulder and a sacred thread stands in the foreground, and another bare-chested person with a rudraksha mala is at right.
