A crowded outdoor scene at a dusty compound with a palm frond at left, a blue tarpaulin and tents behind, and a white building at right. Many men and some women wear white clothes, most with rudraksha malas and marigold garlands with ribbon rosettes. In the centre, a smiling man in white holds a stainless steel tray with a small metal cup, and a man at lower right holds another steel tray. A man in the foreground wears glasses and a red tilak mark. No one in the scene is identifiable as a person by appearance, so no candidate is marked.

A man in the foreground wears a white shirt, rudraksha mala and a name badge, carrying a bronze-coloured plate of rice and yellow food. Behind him a long queue of people in white shirts, white dhotis and cream sarees with coloured borders waits with leaf plates. Several attendees hold round palm-leaf plates. A multi-storey beige building stands in the background.

A bald, bearded man in white clothing with a rudraksha mala stands at left holding a metal tray, while a younger man in white beside him also holds a tray. Behind them, volunteers in white kurtas and trousers serve food from steel trays and vessels. At right, a woman in a pink blouse and cream sari with a black handbag holds a tray and glances to the side. Other attendees in white and a woman in a maroon top stand near a dark red doorway. The ground is bare earth with a few bricks and stones.
