A photograph of a shaved-headed man in a rust-orange robe with a gold-bordered yellow shawl, seated cross-legged behind a low yellow-painted altar table. He wears a long rudraksha mala with a gold necklace and gold earrings, and has white tilak marks on his forehead. He gestures with his right hand while his left hand rests on the table, with a microphone on a stand before him. Brass bowls, a spouted brass vessel, a bundle of dry sticks, a potted plant and a lit oil lamp sit on the table, and a gold-painted cart stands behind him.2014-11-25July 29 20122012-07-29November 25 20142014-11-25May 17 20132013-05-17April 29 20132013-04-29October 03 20112011-10-03April 29 20132013-04-29October 01 20112011-10-01A photograph of a priest in orange-saffron robes seated cross-legged beside a stone-edged fire pit during a homa. He is shaved-headed, wears a long gold-coloured necklace of beads, and pours or sprinkles offerings from a brass plate of grains and red items. Brass vessels, a bronze bowl with a ladle, a kalasha-style pot and offering trays lie around him, with smoke rising from the pit and a wooden seat behind him.2011-10-01A homa fire ritual in progress inside a room with a brick-lined fire pit blazing with flames. A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes with a red-orange shawl, wearing a gold-bead necklace and a mala, sits cross-legged and feeds sticks into the fire from a silver bowl. Steel plates hold offerings beside him, pink flowers decorate the pit's edges, and a white jasmine garland hangs at the right. Seated devotees in chairs with pink bags are visible in the background, and a microphone stands by the priest.2012-09-05July 17 20062006-07-17A photo of a fire ritual. A shaven-headed man sits cross-legged on an orange cloth, wearing an orange robe, a gold rudraksha-style necklace of beads and a white and red forehead marking, and speaks into a microphone while reaching toward a flame. Brass and silver bowls hold offerings and wood sticks sit by the fire. Seated behind him, two men in white clothes sit with folded hands, and a third man in a red and white shawl sits on a chair nearby. Flowers lie at the edge of the frame. The orange-robed man's appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity, so he is described only by role as a ritual officiant.2012-09-09
