August 17 20122012-08-17A large, cheerful crowd fills a stone-paved temple courtyard, viewed from above. Many devotees wear white shirts and trousers, while others wear saffron and orange robes and garments. A bare-chested man at the lower left wears an orange cloth, a large gold necklace and gold armlets and smiles broadly. Another man in orange with a rudraksha mala stands near the centre. Women in orange and red saris stand among them, some with flowers in their hair. Men and women raise hands and clap, celebrating together. Metal scaffolding and a temple wall are visible at the upper left. Most people are in the crowd; no clear, unambiguous candidate for a person is identifiable from appearance.2012-08-17August 17 20122012-08-17A large crowd of devotees gathers tightly on a stone-paved temple courtyard, many raising hands and pressing forward in excited devotion. In the right foreground, a figure with a bare shoulder wears an orange-saffron cloth and a long rudraksha-style beaded mala, holding up a silver metal pot toward the crowd, with gold bangles on the wrist. Most men wear white shirts and white dhotis with white tripundra marks on their foreheads; several women wear saffron, maroon and cream saris, and one woman holds a green leaf aloft. Scaffolding and blue railings appear at the top edge. This is a photograph of a crowd, with no clearly identifiable a person depicted.2012-08-17December 29 20102010-12-29August 17 20122012-08-17August 02 20082008-08-02May 06 20162016-05-06A dense crowd of devotees gathered outdoors, many with palms pressed together in namaskar and hands raised. In the foreground a woman with dark hair pulled back, wearing an orange sari, gold necklace and earrings, holds a small silver kalasha-style pot and faces the crowd. Around her, men in white shirts and white dhotis and women in orange and saffron saris stand close together, several smiling. A bald man with tilak marks and an orange shawl appears at lower left. The scene suggests a satsang or temple visit with people greeting one another.2012-08-17August 02 20082008-08-02December 29 20102010-12-29August 02 20082008-08-02
