Outdoor photo of a ceremony at a village site with palm trees and striped tent awnings. A man in a long-sleeved white shirt and white dhoti stands at a metal pole, tying or fixing an orange cord to it, while a shaven-headed man in orange holds an orange umbrella overhead. A central figure in orange robes and a dark rudraksha mala stands barefoot inside a stone-rimmed circle with chalk kolam designs on the ground. Several people in orange and white stand around, including a young girl in white and boys in white and orange, with a crowd behind them.

Outdoor photo at a flag-hoisting or inauguration moment beside a tall white pole under a clear sky with palm trees behind. A man in an orange turban, orange sleeveless top and a long white and orange flower garland hoists a rope on the pole while holding a large red umbrella with multicoloured tassels overhead. Beside him a bearded man in white shirt and black beaded necklace stands, and a bald man in white with a yellow shawl holds a small brass bowl. Other men in white, some with yellow shawls, crowd in, and an orange cloth and banana plant decorate the pole.

Outdoor photo at a flag-raising or inauguration moment beneath a red umbrella atop a white pole, with orange pennants and palm trees behind. A central figure in an orange robe and orange turban, wearing a long white and red flower garland and rudraksha-style beads, pulls the rope to raise a flag while an orange-clad devotee beside him raises praying hands. A man in a white shirt and cream trousers stands at left looking upward, others in white dhotis and orange sashes watch, and a devotee at right in white holds a tray of flowers. Petals and marigold rangoli lie on the ground at the base of the pole. The central robed figure has no clearly distinctive a person cues beyond the orange robe and garland, so identity is left uncertain.

Outdoor photo in a village setting with palm trees and a clear blue sky. A man in an orange-saffron robe holds up a bright orange umbrella with one arm raised, standing among a crowd. Nearby, a man in an orange robe with a head covering stands behind him. Around them, many men in white dhotis and white shirts, and women in white and red saris, press their palms together in greeting. Children in orange, red, grey and a sparkly grey dress stand in the foreground. A tall metal pole with a yellow rope tied to it stands at left, and a small white building with a corrugated roof is behind the crowd. The scene appears to be a public gathering after storm damage, judging by the uprooted-looking vegetation.

A photograph of an outdoor procession at a palm-lined ashram setting with coconut palms and thatched huts. Several saffron-robed monks stand in a line with hands folded in anjali, wearing flower garlands of red, yellow and orange blooms. A woman with long dark hair in an orange sleeveless top and orange skirt raises her arm to garland the monk in front of her. A young man in orange robes with rudraksha mala holds a bundle of flowers on the left, and men in white dhotis with yellow shawls stand behind him near an ornate red and gold umbrella (chatra) on a pole. A banner with a green-and-white design is visible in the background.

Outdoor photo of a flag-hoisting ceremony (dwajarohanam) beside a tall white pole under green trees. A smiling person in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap, with a red tilak on the forehead and a white and red flower garland, stands at the pole with hands raised to it. A multicoloured parasol with tassels is held above them. Around them, many people in white dhotis and shirts press hands together in greeting, and a man in orange robes at right holds a tray of red petals. A young woman in white with a yellow shawl stands at right. The person in the centre fits the appearance-based cues of a person, with saffron clothing, a head wrap and garlands, but the image does not confirm identity. Dirt path underfoot.

Outdoor scene on a sandy courtyard with palm trees and thatched huts. A long-haired figure in orange robes stands at the left, facing a group of saffron-robed monks. A saffron-robed monk in the center holds a garland of red and white flowers. Two decorated umbrellas in red, yellow and green with tassels are held over the group by men in white dhotis and yellow shawls. Several men in white and women in white stand around, some with lanyards. A printed banner is visible in the background.
