In the centre, a man in orange robes with long dark hair, a dark cap and a rudraksha-style necklace leans forward over a seated deity murti draped in orange cloth and garlanded with yellow, purple and red flowers, applying an offering with his hand. A second orange-robed attendant stands to the left holding a brass plate of flowers, and a third man in white dhoti with an orange-bordered shawl stands at the far left with a metal tray. A pair of orange-clad figures sit on a higher platform to the right beside a purple and blue draped backdrop, and a small garlanded murti lies in the foreground, with brass cups and vessels on the ground. The photo is watermarked at the lower right.2010-12-27September 14 20122012-09-14September 16 20122012-09-16A photograph of a temple ritual outdoors under a covered pavilion. A man in a white dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl and beaded gold necklace holds a silver tray with a lit flame and yellow flowers. Beside him a young priest in saffron cloth and a rudraksha-style mala carries a tray of flowers. In the centre a man with long dark hair, a saffron headband, saffron robes and a long beaded necklace stands with hands folded, facing a large seated figure dressed in orange cloth and heavily garlanded with yellow, red, white and purple flowers. A small figure in orange and flower garlands sits at the lower left. Behind them are a purple-draped and orange-draped altar, a metal railing and a corrugated roof.2010-12-27A temple ritual scene with a man in saffron-orange robes wearing a long white and red flower garland and a gold-beaded necklace, a red bindi and white tilak on his forehead, and bangles on his wrists; he holds white petals in one hand while another man in orange dhoti and shawl with white tilak carries a gold tray. Behind them stand a large deity murti and a tall multicoloured flower garland of red, yellow, green and purple blooms, with a gold hand-gesture sculpture above. Carved stone pillars frame the temple hall. Candidate appearance is a long-haired figure with several cues but this is uncertain, so the central man is described by role as a devotee performing an offering.2011-12-11A photograph of an outdoor temple ritual under palm trees. A long-haired man in saffron-orange robes, wearing a white and maroon flower garland, a red tilak on his forehead, and gold armlets, stands at left beside a carved wooden pillar wrapped in yellow marigold garlands. Beside him, a bald priest in orange dhoti and gold necklaces and a second man in orange cloth hold a brass tray draped with white cloth, yellow flowers and red blossoms. Hanging orange cords run down from above. The long-haired man is a visible candidate for Swamiji (probable), identified by his long swept-back hair, saffron robes, garland and ornaments, while the two priests are attendants in orange garments.2011-12-11December 19 20112011-12-19December 23 20082008-12-23
