Outdoor temple courtyard with stone pillars and a carved stone shrine. Four men walk in a line at left: three in white dhotis and bare-chested with shaved heads, and one in orange kurta with a rudraksha mala and a garland. A woman with long dark curly hair in an orange sari stands at a stone shrine with a metal lamp housing and small offerings, facing the shrine. A palm-lined temple hall with white balustrade stands behind, and a colourful patterned canopy overhead.2011-09-09October 12 20122012-10-12Photograph of a temple courtyard with palm trees and a gopuram-style shrine with sculpted lions at the upper right. A tall figure with long swept-back hair, bare chest and orange clothing with gold beaded necklaces walks barefoot at left, hands joined in greeting, followed by saffron-robed sannyasis. Men in white shirts and white trousers stand at centre and right, and a man in khaki uniform and a man in a red shawl stand nearby. Bamboo scaffolding and a pillared colonnade fill the background. Overhead a grey sky. The tall figure has distinctive long hair and gold adornments, so a person appears here as a walking, greeting figure.2012-08-17September 09 20112011-09-09A photograph inside a temple colonnade with blue-painted wooden ceiling beams and dark carved stone pillars. A man in a saffron-orange shawl and matching orange headwear, wearing a multi-colored flower garland, walks barefoot at the centre and smiles. Around him a group of men in white dhotis and shirts, some with orange shawls, walk alongside, and a woman in white with hands folded in namaskar stands to the right, with a rudraksha-style mala visible. A cameraman in a white shirt with an orange shawl films at the far right. A round brass plate stands on the floor in the foreground.2007-01-12Photograph of a temple procession in a stone colonnaded corridor with a gilded palanquin decorated with pink and white garlands at upper left. A man in saffron-orange robes with a long rudraksha-style necklace of white flower garlands walks barefoot at centre, flanked by monks in saffron robes, one holding a tall silver staff. A man in white dhoti and shirt points ahead at left, and a woman in orange and cream sari walks nearby. A cameraman with a shoulder camera is at right, and onlookers stand along the pillars.2009-08-06December 29 20102010-12-29A procession walks along a stone-paved temple courtyard beside a long pink-and-cream colonnaded temple hall with carved pillars. At the centre, a man with long dark hair and a bare chest wears a saffron-orange cloth wrapped at the waist and an orange turban, with a multicoloured flower garland of yellow and red blooms draped over his shoulders and a gold necklace. He walks with palms pressed together in greeting. Probable Swamiji is the central figure by these appearance cues: long hair, orange turban, saffron clothing and flower garland. Around him, devotees in white dhotis and shirts, some with orange shawls and identity lanyards, walk in step, one carrying a green cloth bag. Wet ground and a patterned kolam floor are visible.2006-09-24December 29 20102010-12-29October 12 20122012-10-12Outdoor photo at a large stone temple gopuram with carved pillars.
