Close-up photograph of four stainless steel vessels on a reddish-brown wooden surface, containing offerings for ritual use: one holds bright yellow liquid, another deep orange-red liquid, another pinkish-white liquid with red flecks, and the bottom one a granular pale tan mixture. A silver vessel with a lid sits at the upper right and a brass or gold-toned cloth edge is visible at the top left. No people are visible; the scene suggests abhishekam or puja preparations.2006-10-20Annadhan during Allahabad Kumbhamela 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesOverhead view of rows of small round brass or gold-rimmed dishes arranged on woven straw mats with coloured stripes. Each dish holds a different dried material: seeds, grains, pebbles, bark pieces, chips of roots, dried flowers and powders in ochre, grey, white and dark brown. No people are visible. The dishes appear to be a display of herbs and natural substances laid out on the ground.2009-01-29June 01 20122012-06-01Photo 11708904 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20142014-01-01 +1 copiesOverhead view of a long table covered with a white cloth, holding rows of stainless steel bowls filled with raw and prepared food ingredients for a naivedyam offering. Bowls contain red, black and green lentils, yellow and orange dals, chickpeas, grains, flour, coarse rice, dried apricots, figs, roasted nuts, a yellow mash and a green leafy paste. A red and green bordered cloth edges the top, and a brass tray sits at the right. No people are visible.2019-10-26Annadhan in 20142014-01-01 +1 copiesPhotograph of a ritual preparation table set up outdoors on a weathered reddish wooden surface. In the foreground are stainless steel vessels: a large basin of orange-brown liquid, a white liquid in a bucket, a steel pot with water, and a steel bowl heaped with chopped fruit pieces, cut produce, pink grains and dark beads. A steel jug with a lid stands at the back. A cloth-covered edge and a partly visible person in green and blue clothing sit at the right. No people are fully visible at the center, and no one is identifiable as a presenter. The setting suggests materials gathered for a homa or abhishekam offering.2006-10-20A photograph of a large stainless steel vessel filled with a bright orange liquid, viewed from above at close range. The surface shows a warm glossy sheen and a light reflection from overhead. No people, text or figures are visible; the image appears to show a bulk container of orange-coloured liquid, possibly a prepared offering or food preparation, in a plain utilitarian setting.2012-06-01Photo 11735629 +2 copiesJune 01 20122012-06-01
