November 16 20092009-11-16A red velvet throne stage with a tiger-striped drape and gold trim is set up for worship. A large framed photograph shows a smiling man with long dark hair, wearing an orange robe and a beaded necklace, seated cross-legged before a tree trunk and raising one hand in blessing. Flanking the framed picture are two gold ceremonial crowns set among red roses, white flowers and green leaves. In front of the throne sits a gold palanquin-style tray decorated with red flower ornaments. A red velvet curtain forms the backdrop. The scene is an empty stage with no people present.2012-10-24A framed portrait of a smiling man with long dark hair, a red bindi and orange saffron robes, raising one hand in blessing, is garlanded with white and red flower strands and set before a bronze deity murti with a green silk cloth draped beneath. Brass oil lamps and yellow and purple flower garlands frame the altar; a banyan-root backdrop appears behind the frame. No physical people are visible. The framed photograph appears to be a depiction of Swamiji (probable) based on the long hair, saffron robe and orange garments, and the page's printed title names him.2007-09-30October 24 20122012-10-24October 24 20122012-10-24April 07 20122012-04-07 +2 copiesAn empty ornate golden throne (peetha) stands centred on a red-carpeted dais in front of a temple-carved backdrop with two large stone lion guardians. Above the throne hangs a framed photograph, garlanded with red and yellow flowers, of a smiling man with long dark hair in saffron-orange robes and a rudraksha mala, seated in meditation under a banyan tree with one hand raised. Brass oil lamps (deepa) flank the platform, with red flowers in vases, a small basket of fruit on a side table, and a red cushioned footstool in front of the throne. The throne is unoccupied, so no physical person is present. The framed portrait is a depiction on a wall, not a physical person.2011-08-10May 06 20122012-05-06A figure in an orange saffron robe with a rudraksha mala sits on an ornate gold throne with a red velvet cushion, under a golden canopy. The throne is framed by a floral arch of marigolds, roses and white flowers, with palm fronds and pink flowers at the sides and a curtained backdrop in pale turquoise and cream. Warm spotlights illuminate the stage, and white pillars with gold bases flank the set. The figure has long dark hair and the setting suggests a Brahmotsava stage. The portrait shows a seated man in orange robes with a rudraksha-style white bead mala and a raised right hand, in front of a large tree trunk. Brass lamps and carved stone pillars stand in the background. The portrait is a depiction, not a person physically present, and the gold throne and garland mark it as an honoured image.A seated man in an orange saffron robe and a long gold-and-beaded necklace sits cross-legged on an ornate gilded throne with a carved back and red striped cushions, fronted by a microphone on a stand.
