Outdoor photograph beneath a large banyan tree with aerial roots. A long-haired man in an orange saffron robe with a red border, smiling, holds a folded white cloth or sheet toward a bald, bearded man in white ritual dress with a white shawl edged in a striped border and a red tilak on his forehead. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and orange shawl stands. In the foreground, a woman with dark wavy hair in a black top and multicoloured shawl, wearing gold jewellery, faces away from the camera and holds a silver plate. The orange-robed figure has long swept-back dark hair and is shown with a distinctive appearance, but no crown, rudraksha, or ceremonial necklace is clearly visible, so identity is uncertain.

Outdoor ceremony under a pale pink canopy hung with orange and yellow marigold garlands. A man in a bearded face, wearing a gold-brown shawl over white clothes and a white and red flower garland, holds a small wooden box or tray that a man in a white shirt and white dhoti offers toward him. To the right, an older smiling monk in an orange robe and orange shawl reaches out, and a person in red-and-white checked clothing stands at the edge. A dark backdrop is behind them. The man in the center has long hair and a full beard, but the photo shows no crown, rudraksha mala or ceremonial gold necklace, so the presenter's identity is unsure.

Outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with dense aerial roots, a long-haired man in an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with red border and a rudraksha mala stands centre, smiling as he hands a small offering or sweet to a woman in a black and red saree with gold-bordered blouse and bangles, who holds her palms out. Behind him a man in white kurta with orange shawl and a dark pendant stands on the sand, and white-clad figures stand further back near a stone-lined pool. On a teal cloth at lower right sit a brass plate and oil lamps. Count of visible people is about four to five.

Outdoor photo beneath a large banyan tree with bare, dusty ground. A shaved-headed elderly priest with white forehead marks, a gold-beaded necklace and a green cloth over his shoulder holds a brass plate with small cups of coloured offerings. A bare-chested younger attendant with a beard and gold chain stands beside him. On the right, a long-haired person in an orange saffron wrap takes a bundle of yellow flowers and green leaves from a brass bowl held by the priest. Behind them, men in white dhotis and shirts stand watching, one with arms folded. The person in saffron has long hair and a saffron wrap, but the image does not establish identity, so the a person field is unsure.

A photograph inside a room with a painted forest backdrop of large banyan-like trees. On the left, a person in a red shawl with a white forehead band and red bindi, wearing gold earrings and a bangle, smiles and gestures toward a grey-bearded man on the right. That man wears an orange shawl over peach-coloured robes, with a blue-and-white striped towel draped over his arm, and presses his palms together in greeting. A man in an orange turban and orange clothing with a white beaded necklace stands at the far right, and a bald person's head is partly visible at the lower left. Appearance-based candidates are not distinctive enough to confirm a person's presence, so no identification is made.

A photograph of a man in a white kurta with shaved head, handing a framed picture to a smiling man in saffron-orange sleeveless robe with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala. A woman in white sari with red bindi stands behind, smiling. A stone carved sculpture and an orange curtain are in the background, with a tray of rudraksha malas and offerings on the table. The orange-robed man is a person by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and rudraksha malas.

A photograph of an outdoor devotee visit with a thatched palm-leaf shelter behind. In the foreground a long-haired man in an orange-saffron top with a rudraksha mala and a white shawl leans forward, smiling, reaching toward a paper held low at the bottom edge. Beside him a bearded man in white shirt and dhoti stands close. Several men in white shirts and dhotis crowd the background, one at left holding a small white object. Coconut palms are visible at right.

A photograph of an exchange at a seated ceremonial setting. An older man with short white hair, wearing a white short-sleeved shirt and a dark rudraksha mala, stands facing right and smiles while accepting a folded paper from a younger man seated on a gilded golden throne with red upholstery. The seated man wears an orange robe and a long orange shawl, and has long dark hair tied back. Behind them, other people in orange robes and white clothing stand near a white curtain, and a gold ornamental decoration and fruit sit in the foreground.

Outdoor ceremony under a yellow, orange and blue canopy with trees behind. A bare-chested man with long dark hair tied back and a full beard, wearing an orange cloth, reaches forward to embrace or greet an older bald man with glasses, a red tilak on his forehead, and a golden-orange shawl. A man in a white striped shirt stands with his back to the camera at right, and monks in orange robes stand at left, one holding a microphone. A garland of white flowers hangs from the older man's arm. The scene appears to be a formal greeting or honouring at a religious event.
