Under a red and purple striped canopy stands a small table with a poster of a smiling woman in a red top, plus a dark grey SUV. Two men in white dhotis and white shirts stand near a pile of discarded sandals and footwear on the ground; one is pushing a long pole. An orange road roller sits nearby, and on the right a white van with a rear ladder carries the printed name NITHYANANDAM and a portrait of a woman. The area appears to be a site set up for a gathering.2009-02-25A photograph of an open dirt construction site with red-brown earth and a dug trench in the foreground. A man at centre front in saffron wraps with long dark hair stands on a striped mat, looking upward. Nearby on the ground are a brass vessel, a folded white chair, a garland of yellow and green marigolds, and stacked cardboard boxes. Some men in white clothing stand behind the saffron-clad group.
