October 27 20082008-10-27October 27 20082008-10-27Outdoor photograph at an ashram event. In the foreground, a man in an orange saffron robe with a maroon-red shawl draws his right arm outward, mouth open mid-speech or call, wearing a black wristwatch. Beside him, a second man in orange robes smiles, with a red tilak mark on his forehead. A third man in a white kurta stands at the right edge, and a few people in white and colourful clothing sit or stand in the background against a white wall with red vertical stripes. A black microphone rests on a white platform in the lower left. Specific identity of the robed men cannot be confirmed from appearance; they are described by role as devotees in saffron.2008-10-27A seated man in an orange saffron robe with a dark rudraksha mala and long swept-back dark hair sits on a dark red quilted cushion, smiling broadly with hands clasped, speaking into a microphone on a stand. A white-draped table with a water bottle and glass stands beside him. Behind him, a row of standing men in white dhoti-style clothing and white shirts with rudraksha necklaces watch. Hanging brass or copper vessels and a red-orange cloth decorate the wall, and a blue and patterned mat lies on the floor. Probable Swamiji is seated in the centre, identified by long swept-back hair, saffron robe and rudraksha mala.2008-03-23A seated man in orange clothing with a bare chest and red bindi smiles broadly while holding a microphone near his mouth; a dark rudraksha-style mala hangs across his body. He sits on a white-draped chair beside a white plastic chair. Behind him, several men in orange and white robes sit against a pale wall decorated with colourful paper streamers. One elderly man in white with orange shawl holds a tall wooden staff.2007-08-15Outdoors at a dusty compound with a block wall, palm tree and orange marigolds behind. A person in a flowing orange robe sits cross-legged on a low dark platform, smiling, one hand raised near the ear. Behind and beside them stand three men in white kurta-style clothing: one in white with an orange shawl, one older man with a white moustache and a rudraksha mala, and one in white with a lanyard and badge. The orange-robed seated figure has long dark hair pulled back and bare feet, and appears to be a sannyasi-style presenter rather than a verifiable identity, so the a person field is left unsure.2008-06-22Outdoors at an ashram-style site, a man with long swept-back dark hair sits cross-legged on a white stone platform, laughing with open mouth and hands raised in front of him. He wears a saffron-orange sleeveless wrap and orange robes, with bare feet. Behind him stands an older man with grey hair and a moustache, wearing a white shirt and a rudraksha mala, arms folded. Other people in white clothing stand further back among orange marigold beds, a palm tree and a concrete wall.2008-06-22June 22 20082008-06-22Outdoor photo of a man standing centre-frame in an orange saffron shawl draped over his shoulders and a red sleeveless undergarment, with long dark swept-back hair and a red bindi, speaking and gesturing toward a seated group. Behind him, a woman in an orange sari with an ID badge stands near a white wall with red vertical stripes. Children and young adults sit on the ground in front, including a girl in a blue top, a woman with light hair, and a boy in a red cap and blue plaid shirt. A man in white kurta is partly visible at the left edge. A pink painted signboard with text is on the upper right wall.2008-10-27November 12 20082008-11-12Close side-profile photograph of a smiling man with long, wavy black hair swept back, wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange garment with dark round bead-like buttons, a red bindi and white marks on the forehead. Behind him a partially visible person in white and orange clothing raises a hand near a rudraksha-style mala. Outdoors with a sandy ground and trees in the background. The distinctive long swept hair, orange clothing and mala are the cues for a person in the crowd of an outdoor celebration.2007-08-15July 02 20072007-07-02
