Devotees in plain white clothes sit cross-legged in rows on woven straw mats in a dim hall during an evening devotional gathering. Many hold open printed booklets or papers, and some have their heads bowed in concentration. A framed portrait of a figure in orange robes sits on a raised stand at the back wall, and a few stacked books lie on the mat in the foreground. One man in the right foreground wears a white shirt and white dhoti and holds a small object. Some participants wear orange or saffron garments among the white-clad group.

A photograph of a satsang hall where two men in white kurta-style clothing sit on a red floor covering. In the foreground a man with short dark hair and a long rudraksha mala leans forward, writing with a blue pen on a white notepad placed on an orange cloth. To the left a second man in white clothing and a dark wristwatch leans over a sheet of paper, with another rudraksha mala draped on his neck. Behind them other seated participants in white and red-brown malas are visible, and a yellow cushion lies at the right edge. The men appear to be taking notes during a discourse.

Photo of several people seated cross-legged on a stone floor in an outdoor courtyard beside an ancient stone wall and a stone pillar. A man in a white shirt and white trousers, barefoot, with a ring and a black wrist cord, writes in a notebook with a blue pen while another seated person in a white garment and orange shawl, wearing glasses and a red bindi, rests a hand on her chin. A third person with long curly dark hair in white clothes leans in over a notebook at the lower right. Brass ritual items such as lamps sit on a cloth at the lower left and cloth lies draped over a stone at the upper left. The setting suggests a traditional learning session on instruments and ritual cords.
