A woman in saffron-orange robes wearing a white flower garland stands center, her hands resting on the head of a man in white who is bowing low in front of her. To the left, a man in white dhoti and shirt stands with hands folded. Behind, a man in white with a red-orange shawl presses his palms together, and a man in orange robes stands further back. On the right, two young men in white dhotis with orange and green borders stand; one holds a silver plate with a kalasha-like brass vessel and flowers, and another holds a silver tray. This appears to be a padapuja-style welcome with ritual offerings.2010-02-18July 12 20062006-07-12A photograph of a pada puja at an outdoor ashram setting with palm trees and tin-roofed sheds behind.
