Two long rows of devotees in white dhotis and white saris stand facing each other, many holding brass plates or trays with flowers and offerings. A tall orange saffron flag on a pole is held at right, and a blue banner with a portrait of a bearded man in white hangs in the background. Men in white shirts and dhotis, one holding a small child in a white shirt, stand along the right side with hands folded in greeting. A bus is visible at left. Count is approximate, roughly 60 to 80 people visible.

A large group of devotees stands in two lines on a dirt road under a clear sky, with palm trees and a low building behind them. Many men wear white dhotis and white shirts, and several women wear white saris with colored borders, some holding flower offerings. Two people on the right raise orange flags with a black emblem, and a man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds his palms together in greeting. A large blue banner on a stand shows a photographed portrait of a man with white hair and beard, and the printed text on the banner is not legible enough to transcribe. A small child in white stands near the centre, and a woman in a blue sari is at the far right.

Outdoor street scene in a Tamil Nadu town with trees and low tiled-roof buildings behind a crowd. A figure in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe with long dark hair and a white flower garland stands at a tall white pole, hauling a white flag with a blue band upward. Above them red and yellow ornate parasols are held aloft. Around them devotees in white dhotis and shirts raise folded hands, one man in white holds a mobile phone, a woman in a white sari with a red border folds her hands, and a young boy in a green shirt holds papers. The figure's cues are a long swept-back hairstyle and saffron robe, so this is a person; he is a flag-hoisting participant in the crowd.

A large procession moves along a street lined with buildings and shops. Men in white dhotis and shirts carry a long peach-coloured banner printed with a blue circular emblem bearing a white bird and Tamil text in blue. Several men hold the banner's poles, and men and women in white and orange saris walk behind it. Many more devotees fill the road, and a few onlookers stand at the roadside. A small orange flag appears in the foreground, and a uniformed police officer stands at left. No identifiable a person figure is visible in this crowd scene.

A long line of devotees in white walks along a paved road during a procession. Men in white kurtas and women in white saris carry brass kalasha pots on their heads, many with flower garlands around their necks. In the foreground, a young man in a white kurta holds a white flag with a blue bird-like emblem, and an older man in a white turban and white shirt carries a pot on his head. A bus and a few cars move on the road, and the flat landscape has palm trees and low buildings under an overcast sky. The scene reads as a ritual padayatra with kalasha-carrying devotees.
