May 08 20162016-05-08Night-time photo of a crowd gathered around a black car at a lit temple-style venue with red and white architecture. Pink rose petals are being showered over a central man with long dark hair and a gold necklace, wearing an orange-red robe. Around him, saffron-robed men with rudraksha malas press close, and a man in a white shirt raises a hand at the right edge. Several women in the crowd smile with hands pressed together in greeting. Red-and-white tent structures and hoarding-style banners with printed portraits line the left side.2016-05-08May 08 20162016-05-08 +1 copiesMay 08 20162016-05-08May 29 20152015-05-29Night-time photograph of a man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl wearing a long white and red flower garland and gold necklaces with a tilak on his forehead, smiling and walking past a black SUV, with a sadhu in orange robes behind holding a long wooden staff and a woman in a pink sari with red border pressing her palms together in greeting at right. A video camera operator is visible at the left edge, and a bright light glows at upper right.A photograph of a night arrival at an ashram. A smiling man in saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, with a red bindi and a long white-and-red flower garland with a gold necklace of beads and a rudraksha-style mala, stands beside an open dark vehicle. Behind him, a shaved-headed attendant in orange cloth holds a long wooden pole, and another man in orange stands near the open door. On the right, a woman in a pink sari with maroon border and a gold wristwatch stands with palms pressed together in greeting. Marigold garlands and green leaves lie on the ground in front, a camera is at the left edge, and a bright light glows in the background. The man's presentation is consistent with a sannyasi, but his appearance alone does not establish identity, so he is described by role. +1 copiesMay 06 20162016-05-06A night-time photograph of a crowd at an outdoor event in front of a red and yellow illuminated pavilion with arched entrances. In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron shawl and a saffron turban, wearing long rudraksha-style beaded malas, smiles and reaches toward a black vehicle decorated with a trident symbol. Around him, a woman in a red sari with garlands and a man in saffron with a beaded mala walk alongside. Other people in white shirts and dhotis, some with bare chests and sacred markings, press close in the crowd, and a bald man in a white shirt is in the foreground. Swamiji (probable) is the centre figure, based on the saffron turban, shawl and rudraksha malas.2016-05-06 +1 copiesAugust 05 20142014-08-05June 23 20132013-06-23 +1 copiesApril 02 20172017-04-02
