Outdoor photograph of a large group of saffron-robed sannyasis and devotees gathered around a dark stone platform under trees. A central figure with long dark hair, bare-shouldered and wearing an orange wrap, rudraksha-style beaded necklaces and ceremonial garlands, stands with palms pressed together in namaste. Around him, monks in orange dhotis with red-striped borders stand with hands folded, some holding trishul staffs and cameras. A few women in orange saris stand among them. Leafy trees and a purple flag appear in the background. Visible cues are long hair, ornate garlands and saffron clothing, and the page names Swamiji at this event, so the central figure is a probable Swamiji candidate.2013-03-10Outdoors under trees, a man with long dark hair stands barefoot on a black stone platform with palms pressed together in anjali mudra. He wears an orange-red garment and a bare upper torso with a thick orange-red shawl and layered white and orange flower garlands. Around him, a large group of devotees in saffron and orange robes with garlands stands with hands folded; a few hold cameras and a trident-like staff is raised among them. A few women in orange saris and a child are included in the crowd.2013-03-10Outdoor ritual scene beneath a large leafy tree. On the right, a shaved-headed man in orange robes wears a white crown, white tilak markings, gold-bead necklaces and a rudraksha mala. In the foreground, a man with long dark hair stands barefoot on a dark stone platform with palms pressed together in anjali, wearing an orange-red shawl over an orange dhoti and multiple strands of gold-and-white beaded garlands, with gold bangles on his arms. Around him, shaved-headed monks and devotees in orange robes with gold borders stand in respectful positions, many with hands folded in prayer. A few women in orange saris stand at the edges. A photographer in orange robes holds a camera at right, and a trident-like staff rises among the crowd. The man's appearance, long hair, orange garments and garlands are cues consistent with Swamiji (probable), presented as a satsang speaker in an in_person setting.2013-03-10Outdoor procession under leafy trees on a sunlit path. A man in front wears a brown-and-tan striped cloth wrap over bare shoulders, a rudraksha-style mala with large yellow beads, arm bands, and a red bindi; his hair is long and swept back. Behind him a shaved-headed man in orange clothing with a tilak raises a hand, and a young woman in orange sari with folded hands walks ahead of a line of boys in maroon and orange robes, some raising their arms; curved brass horns are visible among the trees. The scene reads as a ceremonial procession. Swamiji (probable) is the man in front, identified by his long swept-back hair, bare-shouldered wrap with distinctive bead necklace and arm adornments.2013-06-20Outdoors under trees, a long-haired man with swept-back hair stands centrally on a dark stone platform, hands in anjali mudra at his chest. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with a gold-toned ceremonial necklace and a rudraksha-style mala, and is bare-chested with gold armbands. Behind him, a large group of shaved-headed men and some youths in matching orange-red robes and malas stand with hands folded, one holding a trident and another a decorated staff with a white finial. A man on the right holds a camera. Appearance-based candidate: Swamiji (probable), with long hair, saffron dress and ornate gold cues, presenting as a speaker before the assembled sannyasis.2013-03-10May 30 20132013-05-30Outdoor photograph of a procession on a dirt path beneath trees. A central man walks forward in saffron-orange robes with a gold-bordered orange wrap, wearing a long gold bead necklace over an orange-red rudraksha-style mala, gold armlets and bangles, gold hoop earrings, a red bindi and white vertical tilak on his forehead, and long swept-back dark hair. Behind him, several young children and teenagers in orange and maroon robes, with white forehead markings, walk in line; a girl in front has her palms pressed together in namaste. Blurred figures and red flowers appear in the background. Probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long swept-back hair, ornate gold necklace and mala, saffron clothing) walking in procession.2013-05-19July 24 20132013-07-24Outdoor photo at a temple-like courtyard with palm trees and a tall decorated pillar behind. A bare-chested man with swept-back long hair, a white vertical forehead mark, a large rudraksha mala and a reddish-brown wrap with gold border stands at left, smiling and looking to the right. Behind him a crowd in saffron and orange robes and bright silk saris, including several girls wearing white jasmine garlands and folded hands in namaste. A camera operator stands at far left. Swamiji (probable): the man has long swept-back hair, a rudraksha mala and a distinctive reddish-brown wrap, so the appearance cues are present, though the mark and robes alone are not conclusive.2014-10-03
