December 16 20122012-12-16December 16 20122012-12-16A photograph of a blessing moment indoors. A man with short hair and a moustache, wearing a white kurta with a red shawl and a rudraksha mala, sits with palms joined and eyes closed while another man places his right hand on the first man's forehead. The blessing figure has long dark hair swept back, a multicolour garland of pink, red and white flowers, and a tiger-striped garment with gold ornaments and a gold armlet. Behind them, photographers and people in white clothes with red shawls stand in a dim room. Swamiji (probable): the blessing figure has long swept-back hair, a flower garland, ornate gold jewellery and a patterned garment, cues consistent with the page's reference to Swamiji at this event.2012-12-16December 16 20122012-12-16September 07 20122012-09-07Indoor photo of a ceremonial blessing. A man in a white shirt and white trousers with a red shawl stands at left, both hands raised and palms on the head of a seated man in a zebra-striped tiger-print cloth. The seated man wears a dark rudraksha mala with a ceremonial gold necklace, a white tripundra mark on the forehead, and holds a folded white paper in his hands while smiling and looking down. Behind them is a golden decorated backdrop and a silver trident at right. Two people are visible. The seated man is a candidate with several cues: swept-back hair, rudraksha mala, ceremonial gold necklace and ornate tiger-print cloth, so this is a probable Swamiji (probable) in person.2013-12-18December 08 20122012-12-08 +1 copiesPhotograph of two men in close, intimate contact in a warm-lit indoor setting with dark red drapery behind them. On the right, a long-haired man with a yellow-ochre horizontal tilak across his forehead, a wrap of deep red-orange cloth over his shoulder, a dense rudraksha mala necklace, and yellow ochre markings on his upper arm reaches out and rests his hand on the forehead of a man on the left. The man on the left wears a white kurta with a red-and-orange bordered shawl and a red thread bracelet, with a lanyard-style badge around his neck, and holds his hands in front of him in a receptive gesture. A metal staff with small bells hangs at the right edge beside brass fittings.2016-07-04A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair tied back, wearing a yellow and black striped sleeveless garment, a waist band of rudraksha beads and multiple rudraksha malas around the neck, extending one hand to touch the forehead of a bearded man in a white shirt with a red cord, whose hands are raised in an anjali gesture. Behind them a seated man in a white dhoti and gold necklace watches, flower garlands in red, purple and white hang at left, and other people in white sit in the background. Swamiji (probable) appears as the figure in the striped garment, identified by the rudraksha malas and swept-back hair while performing the blessing.2013-07-09A photograph taken at an indoor ceremony on a ship-like setting with warm lights and a white curtain. A man with short grey hair, wearing a white kurta-style shirt and white dhoti with a red shawl draped over his shoulders, raises his palm while a seated person in a tiger-striped garment with pearl necklaces, red floral garlands and gold bangles reaches out and touches his forehead. The seated figure, dressed in tiger-print cloth and a bold robe, appears to be giving a blessing or tilak. Behind them, people in white and red shawls stand, and a photographer with a camera stands at the top. A brass oil lamp and gold vessels are visible at lower right.2012-12-16A photograph of two men in close, intimate contact at an indoor event with a dark red draped backdrop. On the right, a long-haired man in a rust-orange wrap with a multi-strand rudraksha mala and a horizontal yellow-ochre tilak on his forehead and arm is raising his right hand to touch the forehead of a man on the left. That man wears a white shirt, a red-and-orange bordered shawl and a red lanyard badge, and holds his left hand up, palm open. A tall ornate golden staff with bells hangs at the right edge beside them.2016-07-04December 16 20122012-12-16
